I have a diagnosis!!! Or a working diagnosis of Protein C and S deficiency

Status: testing 

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well?  I'm stupid excited that I have a theoretical diagnosis. My chromosomes were normal. I'm a recessive carrier for a form of muscular dystrophy but that's it. 

Any testing coming up/any recent results? I see a hematologist on Wednesday, thank you funny blood. 

Questions? Anyone on blood thinners? It seems that is the most common course of action for Protein C and S deficiency. 

GTKY: If money was not an issue, what job/career would you want to pursue? I would be a new parent support human. Essentially a free person that expecting families and new parents can call for advice, assistance, someone that helps provide support and resources for nursing, PPD PPA, just a shoulder to lean on for new parents.

@mambo5-2 I'm glad you finally heard back and have something to move forward with. Can't wait to hear how the hematology appt goes!

Status: WFAF (which is hopefully coming any time now as I have been spotting for 2 days)

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Things are going okay. I have a therapist lined up that I start seeing next week so that will be a huge help! I'm just ready for this waiting game to be over and to start trying again. (I hope that doesn't sounds horrible, and doesn't degrade the losses I've had, I am just ready to keep trying at this point).

GTKY: If money was not an issue, what job/career would you want to pursue? I would love to be a Disney Influencer! Just going to the parks all the time and sharing all the new merch and stuff would be amazing!

I remember 100% being at that point where I was ready to start trying and annoyed with waiting for AF after my losses. I wanted to move forward so bad and was sick of just waiting, and constantly checking to see if AF had started every time I peed.

@mambo5-2 A diagnosis can be such a blessing because it means something to “fix”! I hope that this is the key for you moving forward.

@tessiesmom26 Doesn’t sound horrible at all! I think we can all relate to being ready to move forward after a loss. I hope your therapist is a good fit!

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Meh, this is the never-ending cycle. I’m mostly just being a big baby because my cycles are usually pretty short and predictable. My biggest struggle right now is trying to be okay with seeing my SIL and BIL over Easter weekend when I am still not really over their insensitive (IMO) recent announcement.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? RE appointment the beginning of May, so one more cycle before then

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc.  Unexpected pregnancy that ended in a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks about a year ago.  Heart rate was extremely low (80s) at 6 and almost 7 weeks.  We were told at 8 weeks that baby stopped growing shortly after, no heartbeat. 

Status: Cycle 1 of officially TTGP

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Things are okay.  I was determined to go all out and start temping this cycle but I got really sick and now we are kind of in a NTNP boat. 

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope. 

Questions? Nope. 

GTKY: If money was not an issue, what job/career would you want to pursue? Oh gosh.  I was a litigation paralegal at a firm that did a lot of high profile white collar criminal defense.  I loved it.  But due to other life circumstances I had to leave because of the demanding hours.  I would, however, love to get back into that line of work, minus the hours haha.  Maybe a part time paralegal in the same field.   I am still a paralegal, but in a different area of law.  Much more boring though.

Another thing I would love to do is just run a craft shop where local people could sell their crafts.  We have a shop like that in my area and I always thought it was so cool.
