R/R: I’m so annoyed we only did it once on Thursday. Our friend was in town and he stayed with us which took away our opportunities. 

CS/Q: I’m pretty sure I O’d Saturday morning based on cramping, but I didn’t get my peak OPK until Saturday, so the apps are telling me I O’d yesterday. I’m just hoping that our Thursday effort was enough

R/R: I'm super annoyed that I am still sitting here. I took my last progesterone on Thursday night and AF still hasn't shown up. Grr. Hopefully she will sometime today as I am over this cycle. Broke down and tested again yesterday just to make sure I hadn't tested too early, but nope. 

CS/Q: Four days seems excessive for AF to show after stopping progesterone, but maybe I'm just being impatient and cranky. The last two cycles it took 2ish days after stopping for her to appear. Anyone have any thoughts as to what the "typical" time usually is?

@bearmomma1 that's important is not your peak, but start of your surge. Because that's when release of LH is triggered which starts meiosis (which generally takes 36 hours). That's why most literature will say that you'll ovulate 12-72 hours after your OPKs start to turn darker. LH needs to get to a certain level to trigger meiosis. 

@abjm0325 how soon after you stop progesterone really varies person-by-person. My usual is exactly 3 days. So, last dose I take is 13DPO, I test on the morning of 14DPO, if negative, I don't take it that night and AF starts 17DPO/CD1 for me. It's like a clockwork. You did letrazole though this cycle, right? That's different from previous cycles? It's very likely Letrazole caused a "stronger ovulation" (i.e. better corpus luteaum) which affected natural progesterone production, which – with supplementation – is extending your LP. But yeah, the waiting sucks.

Typical LP length: 16 days with progesterone supplementation

Testing: Will test Saturday/Sunday since I'm going to Napa on Sunday, and we have plans to go wine-tasting. 

R/R: I'm still reeling from the migraine. I was literally afraid to go to sleep on Saturday night for fear it would happen again. But it didn't. I'm a little worried that I'm going to get these in pregnancy though. Oh well, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it (which will hopefully be this cycle! *fingers crossed*) 

I finally set up my home office yesterday, and it looks freaking awesome! I'll post a photo in randoms. And so far, all my new electronics (mic + camera) are working perfectly in my meetings. I need to do a little more work on cable management, but I'm about 85% there!

@acleverusername Yes, I didn't even think about the letrozole possibly affecting things. Excellent point. I feel like AF is on the way, so hopefully will be out of limbo soon. I'm sorry about your migraine! I used to get them occasionally as a child, but I hadn't had one as an adult until fairly recently and now I've had two this year. They're super fun. I suppose it's possible they might happen for you more frequently while pregnant, but I think it would likely be the spike in hormones that would bring it on, so hopefully wouldn't happen once your body regulates to its new normal while pregnant.

@bearmomma1 I feel you. I've been bested the past couple cycles worrying about timing (this one too) and it really sucks. But you never know, FX anyways!

Testing: Trying to hold off until Saturday or Sunday at the very least. Might not even test and just see if my temps drop.

R/R: I got a lot of admin done work today, things I've been meaning to do and just kept putting it off - felt good. DH is off tonight so yay for that. I might actually be able to taste red wine tonight because I'm finally not feeling so congested

@abjm0325 it took me 3 days to start my period last time after stopping. I hope yours starts asap.

@acleverusername ah that’s good to know. I guess it wouldn’t be such a big deal but I want to make sure enough time has passed before starting progesterone, but then don’t want to wait too long! I think I’ll start tonight. Also, Napa! We must be almost neighbors. I’m in the Bay Area

Timing: -5, -4, -3, -1, O, +1 so pretty solid I'd say

Typical LP length: no clue

Testing: I'll start Friday probably

R/R: I've been super lightheaded/dizzy all day. I just want to go back to bed. It's my husbands birthday though so instead I baked a cake. 

CS/Q: I've got nothing today, I can't even keep my eyes open let alone my brain working.
