Roundworms

Does anyone have any experience with having a dog with roundworms & not catching them? I’ve kept the dog contained but I’m just thinking of the first day where we didn’t know she had worms & I touched her. We had puppy pads in the house that she was pooping on & we were getting rid of them quickly then I would mop where the pads were. The dog was on the couch a few times but it was after my husband gave her a medicated bath. I’m worried about us catching it because my kids have been on the couch. Anyone? Please give me some experiences. I’m so stressed out, I can barely get any sleep.

  • If you can get someone else to clean her poop, you should.  You're unlikely to get them from just giving her a pet. If you shared food with her, or handled her poop and then ate something with your hands, which I doubt, then be worried.
