Okay I'm going to start this puppy off and ask for any and all info you've got on CoQ10. I see that some of you take it with your regimen and in my google deep dives after *TW* two MMC due to chromosomal abnormalities *end TW* I'm seeing that it might be something I should try. I asked my OB about it today at my appt but he said he didn't know much about it and requested that I print some of my research and drop it by the office for him to read up on and learn about. I'm going to do that, I just wonder what, if any, helpful insight you all might have!

@tessiesmom26 thanks for creating this thread! I totally forgot to do it, and just now realized this. 

I've already DM'ed you about C0Q10, but I'll repost here for others. It's basically one of the few researched supplements that is shown to improve egg quality. Ubiquinol is even better, since it's the active form of C0Q10 (which first needs to be converted to Ubiquinol before your body absorbs it). I wouldn't even bother asking your OBGYN about taking it, just do it, and make sure YH takes it. When one goes through fertility treatments, you end up taking a much higher dose of Ubiquinol (we were both taking 600mg), so the sooner you start, the better, in case you end up having to go down that route (which I hope you won't!!!).

*TW asking intrusive questions about the genetic testing of your MMCs*

Is there a way to check for provenance of aneuploidy? I.e. paternal source? We were able to do that with our PGT testing of embryos. See research article here: https://www.fertstert.org/article/S0015-0282(15)02205-0/fulltext

In our case, all of our abnormal embryos were maternal source, which is not surprising given that I'm 38.

My question is: how to effectively take HPT if you're one of those person's who needs to pee in the middle of the night? I've been collecting a bit of pee from my mid-night trip to the bathroom, and the adding to it with my FMU. But does that even work? You'd think I have it figured out by now.

@acleverusername I'm giggling a little bit about you collecting pee from various times. Definitely imagining you with science test tubes mixing concoctions in your bathroom over a bunsen burner.

*TW CP*

After my CP, I am firmly in camp "you should be able to clearly see the line." I know there is all the chatter out there about "A line is a line! You're pregnant with anything!" which I realize is technically true, but I also think most people (barring some possible late implantation which we can talk about separately) should have a pretty clear positive by 13-14 DPO, regardless of middle of the night peeing. Just my thoughts and experiences though.

@acleverusername just pee on it. Lol. I wouldn’t put that much thought in it TBH. 

TW positive tests 

I have peed on tests at 4am when I woke up. 7am “FMU”, chugged water and peed again in 30 min bc of shock… and a 3rd time… bc of well, shock. End of the day. You name it. FRER doesn’t even say it has to be FMU on the instructions any longer. I’ve had two at 10DPO, one at past due AF bc I was oblivious, and then the most recent in Feb was a super messy chart.

@acleverusername lmao I’m pretty sure they say to use FMU because the HCG concentration is higher in the morning and has very little to do with like how long or concentrated your pee is


TW positive test 

I was like 9dpo and POAS at like 8pm after a 12hr shift because I just couldn’t wait any longer and had a pretty definitive line (and I KNOW I ovulated CD17) so also personally I just say POAS!

TW: Positive test

I’m a pee in the middle of the nighter also. I got every positive I’ve gotten the most clear in my FMU, no matter how many times I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

LOL. Thanks for entertaining me y'all. @abjm0325 Hahaha. Yep, that's me with test tubes full of urine. My H sometimes has to remind me to hide my mid-night urine when we've got house guests or if we're staying in an AirBnB with other where we're sharing a bathroom. 

You're all right, I'm definitely overthinking it. Will do that no more.

@acleverusername I am also team pee whenever. and for your other question re: chromosomal testing -

I think we might have been able to do that if we had asked before the testing but I assume it's too late now since all testing has been completed. I can also request the full report though to see if it's there. I have been taking the CoQ10 for a few days now and have tried to get DH on board but it's a hard sell for him right now so that's a battle lol.

@tessiesmom26 why the hard sell with MH? He doesn't believe in its effectiveness? Or is it just compliance? Cause that's every man ever.

Can anyone recommend a good thermometer for BBT? Bonus points for a quiet or silent beep. 

I’ve been using the same one for 6 years and it just broke and I can’t replace it because they don’t make it anymore. It was so cool too, Bluetooth and connected right to my phone and the Kindara app. Didn’t know how attached I was until it was gone 😫😂

@tessiesmom26 and @acleverusername SO hates taking any and all vitamins so I mix them in his coffee. 

We're CoQ10 here for egg and sperm health and my parents actually take it for heart health I guess.

It's huge and backlit, bluetooth connected. Expensive but I really like it.
