*How far along are you? 10 weeks today!

*Which birth month board/due date? October, 10/29

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We're pretty sure about our boy name and have been tossing around a couple of girl names but nothing certain yet.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I've hit that part of first trimester where I'm starting to show but you can't really tell it's a bump so I'm kind of in between regular clothes and maternity clothes. The vomiting let up this week which of course made my PGAL brain freak out but I'm still having a lot of nausea and food aversions and my belly is growing so I'm hopeful that everything is progressing fine. I graduated from the RE two weeks ago and I get to stop my IVF meds next week which is so wonderful. I don't have another ultrasound until 4/19 and I'm anxiously counting down the days!

I'm still following my IF girls and rooting for you all!!

*How far along are you? 11 weeks 4 days 

*Which birth month board/due date? October BMB - October 18 

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We’ll find out, but I’m procrastinating getting my NIPT because this still feels too good to be true and I’m scared of a bad result. I’m going to make myself do it in the next couple of weeks though so I should know by my next check in! 

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We will say names randomly and I’m keeping a list. Boy names are hard for us, every name DH says is one that I associate with a coworker or client, so I think we’re kind of waiting to see if we even have to bother with boy names. 

*Questions, concerns or other? I had my first OB appointment this week and they did a quick ultrasound so it was nice to see that everything is still fine. We’re starting to tell people which is fun but scary. I miss you all and still check TTGP first when I log in to TB❤️

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have a pretty solid contender for a girl name. Absolutely nothing for a boy. H was hard to get on board with a boy name discussion early on because he was convinced it was a girl. Now apparently he's changing his mind. Idk what he's doing, lol.  

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?

I'm in the 2nd tri upswing, so I'm finally feeling mostly good. I have to do the 3 hr glucose test, so that's a bummer, but other than that, things are fine.  

Like everyone else, always keeping an eye over here and rooting for you all.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. I think we’re there for both. It took me awhile to come around DH’s grandfather’s name, but once I did I loved it.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Overall things are going well. Finally made it to third trimester, which is crazy to think about. Now I’m just trying to figure out how to stay active and sane through all the body changes. This whole process is wild to me. Seems like everyday feels a little different. 

I miss you all and think of you often. Lurking always and crossing everything for you!

We picked up this nasty bug in my house so I’ve just been laying low. But I think we’re all past the worst of it. It’s not covid, just some virus, but it honestly may have hit us harder than covid did! Otherwise, everything has just been smooth sailing. I’ve finally begun to feel regular movement which eases my pgal mind tremendously! I’m still lurking here regularly and rooting for each and every one of you wonderful ladies! ❤️

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. OMG word of advice if you plan on having a name and not sharing it until you give birth, do NOT given even a hint of the name like the first letter. You will be f*cking bombarded by people calling out names left and right trying to guess. Don't even do this at a party with family. I've had 2 meltdowns over giving such little info. Jesus f*ck.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Nothing real new going on here with baby. Just being blown away by all the movements and how uncomfortable it feels. Not painful but just weird AF. I have started "nesting" a bit by shredding the ungodly amount of papers we've kept over the years that don't even need keeping in an effort to start clearing the nursery. Great kindling for summer bonfires. A+ idea. Should probably start getting some of the necessities on order like a car seat .

In other news, my SIL and FBIL have decided to get married 9 days after my due date. Even though DH supposedly reminded his sister that it's really close to my due date, I don't think they understand that we're like 99% not going?? Even if I have him a week or 2 early I highly doubt we will have our sh*t together to be able to venture out and be around other people. Most people I've talked to say they don't take their newborn out anywhere (besides stroller walks) until they're at least a month old. Even 3 weeks old was pushing it for some people. And if I go late and have to be induced... well we may still be in the hospital when they're getting married so wtf are they thinking. Unless they're okay with us not being there?? Doesn't make sense when it's only going to be parents and siblings at this wedding. Wouldn't you pick a date you knew everybody could make? They literally could have picked any other month and it would have been fine for us. Funny how I used to dream that they'd pick a date, I'd get KU and then be able to use being 8-9 months pregnant as a reason I couldn't help with the wedding or be a bridesmaid. It's literally happening haha.

I'm always lurking so if you need me, I'm never too far away. Always rooting for you guys and hope 2022 treats everyone well!

@inthewoods23 OMG your SIL/FBIL. That's the one that got engaged after showering? Well, no offense to your H's side of the family, but they never came across as anything but selfish (all those gluten-full cakes, etc.) so not particularly surprised. Is your H upset that he'll likely have to miss the wedding? 

PS, you're missed around here, but not nearly enough to want you back until you're TFAS.

@acleverusername oh yeah I totally forgot about that part of the proposal 😆. Kinda creepy that you remember that but I'm also one to easily remember some of the weirdest details so I get it. I'm not sure how DH feels about it but I think we're in agreement that they BOTH could do better. My family may have been better about my diet because on my mom's side is a cousin with a peanut allergy and a cousin's wife who is gluten and dairy free so we've had to deal with dietary restrictions before.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Yep, we have a name. Driving the family crazy because we don't share, but too bad, so sad for them. 

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Very, very happy and relieved to still be pregnant after all the pre term contractions and hospital visits in the last couple weeks! Most likely related to the UTI from hell that has *finally* gone away after 4 different antibiotics 🙌. Fingers crossed it stays gone, for at least another week. I'd love a break lol. But once we get past the pre term labor risk in a couple weeks, then we move right into trying to get this baby out after 37 wks, but before 40 wks because he's measuring huge, and will likely be bigger than DD if I go to 40. 😬

*How far along are you? 8w1d

*Which birth month board/due date? November 17!

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? green at the moment but we'll be finding out as soon as we can

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We've got it narrowed down to two main contenders for a girl's name, I think. For boys it's a bit more fluid, but we'll probably wait to really start narrowing things down until we know what they are, hopefully next month via NIPT.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? It's finally starting to feel real! We officially graduated from the RE today, we had an ultrasound last week to verify there was one baby and they looked good, and a second ultrasound there today. My migraines have been worse recently, but hopefully that tapers off after the first trimester. I'm very excited, we're telling our extended family tomorrow at a family party now that we have a less-blob-shaped ultrasound picture to share.

I'm still lurking and cheering everyone here on and I hope 2022 is the year of TTGP mass graduations!

We had decided on a girl name a while ago but didn’t share it with anyone, and when we saw that it was a girl it was clear that would be her name. It’s not a common name so I won’t post it here, but we named her after my late grandmother who passed last November.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?

Baby girl arrived early in the morning on April 13, one day after her due date. I was induced on her due date (the day before). It was a long and tough labor and we dealt with some complications (nothing too major, thank goodness). If I posted her whole birth story here you would all be bored to tears. Luckily I am recovering very well with only a minor tear and my swelling is pretty much gone. I was not prepared at all for breastfeeding and it took a while to get the hang of things, but happy to report that she is now eating well and doing great.

She is wonderful and we are so in love. I was not expecting a girl (and frankly I’m not sure many others in our friends and family group were either!)  but am just over the moon. Watching MH become a dad is one of the best joys I have ever been given. 

This community… I have said it before but I can’t say it enough. It is the best corner of the internet and saved me during ttc. I am truly so blessed to have found it and learned so much from all of the women here. Becoming a mother is the greatest gift I have ever been given and I want that for each and every one of you ♥️.

@inthewoods23 I feel like there is not enough conversation about how *weird* baby movement is. Like there is 100% a creature living inside you and it does not feel normal.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Feeling pretty good still, apart from righteous heartburn. All of the "I am very big" things definitely do come sooner with the second. Rooting for you all and especially for IF exoduses.
