Testing: I tested this morning because I am a lunatic. Why did I do that?? I am never an early tester. It was, of course, a BFN. Tempered expectations anyway, I guess. Will test again Friday or Saturday. 

R/R: I have a cold and I'm not pleased about. In better news though, it is freaking 80 degrees here today and I love it! Having friends over to visit outside after work and super pumped about seeing them and spending time outside.

Our good friends who I had issue with back in the fall had their baby today. I'm proud that I was able to express excitement for them (and mostly mean it).

CS/Q: Can being sick affect implantation? I know the answer is probably no, but I keep getting sick in the TWW and it's making me all weird and paranoid. I haven't taken any medication, so it would have to be the actual act of being sick that was the problem. You can tell me I'm nuts, I am already well aware of that fact.

FF is really confused with me this cycle but I think I'm team TWW for now?

R/R: Officially sick. @abjm0325 from what I've read, I don't think illness can prevent implantation. I think it can mess with your cycle lengths, BBT, and O-ing though. I have zero experience so I'll report back after this cycle is over for me 

CS/Q: Let's play a game called, when did I ovulate?! FF is saying CD 11 but it's sooo early for me. My guess is CD 15. An implantation dip at 4 DPO just doesn't make sense to me.

@mrsmtothek are you using OPKs? There's really not a lot of data in your chart to super-accurately state when O date, but I think it's most likely that it was CD15.

I am - but unfortunately, I didn't start testing until CD 12 so its likely I missed my surge, if FF is actually correct. Ever since then though my readings were low, I never saw anything higher than .27. 

I guess it's a lesson for me to start testing earlier in my cycle! Sigh.

@mrsmtothek join the “when did I actually O” club! FF has changed my O date multiple times because my temps are wonky and I stopped OPK testing. I thought I was an-O this cycle. 🤦🏼‍♀️

R/R: I fell into TWW crazy finally… I searched the chances of getting KU if your timing is literally just +1. Apparently there’s still hope 😂 I guess my pitcher of margs that night making me frisky payed off! Lol

@mrsmtothek Haha, we will be able to offer two data points after this cycle on implantation possibility while sick.

@ejoseph16 girl... I haven't followed your saga (I'm assuming there was one), but I'm pretty sure your O was either CD23 or CD24. Why do you think your timing is +1?

@acleverusername my OPK never got any darker. I stopped logging, but continued testing up until about day 26 or 27, and they were still super light, no surge. My CBAD I used that gave me a high reading was giving me lots of mixed readings, so I never logged them. FF has moved O day all over the place. I never got crosshairs until CD 33, where it said O day was CD 28. Then it started moving my crosshairs all over the place. So I truly have no idea! I got frustrated around CD 28 and stopped tracking everything except temp.

It _is_ possible you had an anovulatory cycle as well. This does happen. But did you have clear EWCM? It looks like you did. OPKs can be unreliable if you don't really understand how they work. Most ppl think you need to have a super dark test line, but surge strength varies from person to person. You don't have snapshots of your OPKs do you?

@acleverusername I do actually… I’ll put them in the spoiler. This is the first cycle I haven’t seen any change in darkness. I literally gave up testing, and I’m actually pretty sure looking at my chart that I did O, I do agree with FF on that. I had an an-o cycle one other time and my temps never really shifted. There was a shift this time, just not a dramatic shift like what I’m used to. I’ve done OPK’s for years now, so I’m very familiar with them, but this time around I had had a stressful time outside of TTC, and I think it just added extra, so I just gave up on giving it my energy. I’m beating myself up for not continuing OPK’s, but it is what it is.

@ejoseph16 didn’t mean to call your OPK skillz into question! FWIW, this looks a lot like the 1 an-O cycle I had in March 2020.

@acleverusername oh no you’re fine, no offense taken! Lol this was my an-o in April 2019… I have a tendency to not see any shift, but this one could have been that also. TW: MC mentioned
