    Status: Testing

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? UGH I want my blood work to finish coming back so we can talk about what is going on.  Currently I just have funky blood and I don't know if I was born with funky blood of have developed funky blood or what is happening.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Waiting for my chromosome testing to come back and its going to take FOREVER.

Questions? Not really, once I actually know what I am dealing with I might have questions.

GTKY: What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day? Reading or watching TV.

  • @mambo5-2 any idea of when you should be getting those results back?

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. Preterm labor/infant loss Sept/Nov 2020. MC Jan 2022

Status: WTO I think hopefully. Hopeful I'll ovulate for the first time since the MC.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? I finally stopped spotting after bleeding the whole month of March. After another period it seemed to finally let up. I'm wondering if I had RPOC that needed to get out. Strange how I didn't keep spotting after the actual MC there.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Have a saline sonogram scheduled for tomorrow. They were thinking possibly RPOC or polyps for causing the spotting. If it was RPOC, I wonder if they could still tell during the sonogram.

    Questions? natm

@bearmomma1 I'm so glad you stopped spotting! Hopefully the saline sono will have some good information for you.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? I shared in the randoms last week about an unfortunately timed family PG announcement. I'm doing better after a few days swallowed up in my feelings, but it still hurts that people aren't more sensitive sometimes.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Regular BFP/BFN testing the end of this week. Then I have an RE appointment in early May.

    Questions? Not today

GTKY: What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day? A hot bath! Trying not to make them too hot while TTC, but in general the hotter the better.
  • @bearmomma1 they said it was like a month to 6 weeks after a major cyber breech last year at the lab the hospital uses.

I hope your saline Sono provides some insight on your ute.

@abjm0325 I'm also a the hotter the better bath person, DH hates it. If I'm not sweating its not hot enough... And then I have to shower afterwards.

  • @abjm0325 Agree about the hot water. I need it steaming.
@mambo5-2 I hope the results come back soon. Waiting is torture!
@bearmomma1 Happy to hear that your spotting finally stopped without intervention. I hope the sonogram brings you some answers, or some reassurance that all is well.

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. Early spontaneous loss August 2021, MMC and D&C at 12 weeks February 2022. Diagnosed with “bad luck” and “old eggs”.

Status: First AF came 51 days after the D&C, but still benched this cycle (OB recommended at least 2 cycles)

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? My struggle this week is that my husband let me know that he’s not sure he wants to try again. I know this is a normal reaction to a loss, and I am not ready to try again just yet either. But it was hard to hear. I just really thought we would have another chance. I just turned 39, so time is not on our side, but there is still time. I feel like we’ve been through a lot, I just don’t want to quit before the miracle, ya know? He said he would keep an open mind, so I am keeping the faith and not counting us out yet.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? RPL panel was within or near normal ranges for everything, and not planning to pursue any further testing at this time.

Questions? I’m thinking of getting a dog. Any hot tips on dog adoption/ownership? I haven’t had one since our family dog when I was a kid!

GTKY: What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day? A hot shower and a bourbon.
  • @maggiemadeit we have three dogs and three cats, pretty much all adopted from the shelter. I definitely say don't rush it, look for one that meets your life style.  My dogs are so lazy but the best creatures.  We have two hound mixes who are incredible.  My third dog is a golden retriever and he is the absolute best dog, he is so calm but SO BIG. My 35 pound hound mix is the perfect, size and personality.

  • @maggiemadeit that's a hard conversation to have with your H. We've had similar conversations, on when do we just stop and how much more loss can we handle? On one hand I totally see where he's coming from and I question at times on when we should just stop and 'move on' from being stuck on this never ending cycle of TTC. But like you, I'm still hoping for our miracle/rainbow baby. I don't think there's a wrong answer, it's just so so hard. <3 hugs

  • @bearmomma1 Thank you for sharing that. It helps to know that we aren’t the only ones having these hard conversations.
  • @maggiemadeit I had the same conversation with my H after our MC. I was devastated he didn’t want to try again, but in the end he was processing differently than I was and it just took him longer to feel ready. Obviously every situation is different, but I would give him a little space and broach it again in a few weeks.

  • Sorry I have been MIA.. things are rough going over here so I am just trying to stay afloat.
@mambo5-2 I hope you don't have to wait too much longer for your blood results.
@bearmomma1 I'm glad your spotting seems to have gone away! GL at your saline sonogram!
@abjm0325 I read about the PG announcement. I just want to say that you are completely justified in all your feelings and I am proud of you stepping up and letting your SIL why you were hurt.
@maggiemadeit DH had said some similar things after our losses, and I agree that it might just be how they process things. I hope you are able to revisit the conversation soon and hopefully be on he same page.

Status: waiting for AF so I can come off the bench

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Things are rough. This past weekend I had to attend my cousins baby shower. I took my own car with the intention of leaving if things got to be too much. It was emotionally draining but I did make it through the whole thing. I think I just needed to know I was not stuck.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? I don't know if I updated after my last appt so if this is a repeat update, I am sorry.. but we got the results of the last chromosomal test and this baby had Trisomy 16.

    Questions? None right now
