Circumcisions with Vitamin K drops vs Shots

No judgement on circumcisions please. We are doing it for religious reasons. My question is for the ones that DID circumcise did you do the vitamin K drops or the shot and why? Also if you have articles for me to read on the this topic please send them my way! TIA!

Vitamin K injections are more effective than the oral form in preventing vitamin K deficiency bleeding. The injections are the safest option and are recommended (and preferred compared to the oral form) by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Canadian Paediatrics Society.

We only have girls and did the drops with all of them. My midwives did warn me, however, that it can be difficult to find a doctor willing to do circumcisions without the injection. But it should be possible, especially if you’re waiting the 8 days, and find the right doctor.
