HCG levels tripling - any advice?

Hi, first time pregnant and looking for some advice. My HCG levels seem to be tripling every 48 hours. Is that normal? I don’t go in for a scan for another couple of weeks and I’m just a bit nervous.

Thank you. I read somewhere steep increase may mean risk of molar or Down syndrome. I don’t think the levels are there for molar. Hence the worry. I should just stop googling everything 😊
