How long did it take your HCG levels to get back to zero post MC?

Hi all! I had a MC at 7 weeks (baby measured 6 weeks) on 2/26. I had bleeding for exactly one week. 4 days after the bleeding stopped I had labs to check HCG and it was 49. That was 16 days ago. I have not had them rechecked since as they said everything seemed fine. Have no idea when to expect my next period. Thanks!

I took a clear blue rapid today and there was definitely a line, but kind of faint. Could this be a new pregnancy or is it likely still detecting the old hormones? It said it detects a level of 25 or higher. That seemed kind of high considering I was at 49 over 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I took a first response and couldn’t tell if it was an evap line or very very very faint, so figured I’d try a less sensitive test today. Trying not to get hopes up, but it’s so hard! Thanks so much!

    I had a blighted ovum MC back in January, but my HCG levels had been so high, there was concern for a molar pregnancy. I had to go in every week until my levels were zero. It took 6 weeks for me to get back to 0, and my period returned about 2 weeks after that. My dr told me it could take 4-8 weeks for my period to return AFTER my levels were at zero. I spent a lot of time being angry for how long it took. I naively thought it was all “over” at the time of my D&C…

    Mine took 4.5 months from a 10 week pregnancy and missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. It. Was. Terrible.

    My HCG levels took 3 months to be negative. This is why doctors recommend waiting at least one full cycle before trying again. Your body went through something traumatic  and needs to heal
