@ponyoisfun yes, boo time change, especially with small children. Plus I haven't figured out if I'm a genius or an idiot for doing our middle's 3rd bday party yesterday. Everyone had a rough night/morning, but I can't tell whether that's from all the sweets or the time change. So, maybe I killed 2 disregulation birds with one stone? Even if that's true, I'm dragging today. I do not want to get my big ready for Pre-K, the baby is still asleep, the middle is screaming about balloons. Truly the mondayest of Mondays today.
@sejica ughhhh that sounds stressful! My apologies! At least that part is over with?!?
My bitchfest: it’s snowing… again… we’re supposed to reach the 50s this week which I’m SO excited about but why give us more snow right before the warmth?!?! Blegh
2 weeks ago, my husband and I had our bank account info stolen (via my husband's login info being hacked--love that for us!). I've been cleaning up the mess for two weeks. Our bank swore up and down that their team would monitor our old account for any auto-pays and make sure they got transferred over. Friends, do you think that happened? No. Not for ONE OF THEM. Oh, they did catch the $80 grocery pick up payment and got that transferred, thank goodness. They missed our mortgage, car payment, power, and car insurance, but hey, who's counting? 😂 I've been so annoyed about it for the last 2 weeks and so cranky and having to change all this account info is SO ANNOYING.
My 6 yo is sick it seems every 2 weeks since starting kindergarten. Today I had to pick him up because his nose got runny at school 🤦🏻♀️ I’m nervous about bringing a newborn into this Petri dish, especially with my 4 yo starting preschool in august.
@Gingermom15 That is the worst! I am a kinder teacher and I basically see that happening with all of my students. We actually have not had COVID spread in the room because we have many precautions agains that, but regular bugs (stomach etc.) seem to be spreading with no problem.
@ponyoisfun his whole class had covid a week after school started, he was so sick 😩 then he got RSV and bronchiolitis right after. They dropped masks in his school and the the upper respiratory viruses have only gotten more frequent. His ped think he has asthma from covid so every time he gets a dry lingering cough. I feel so bad for him! I’ve kept him masked but with just him it doesn’t help. I cant wait for summer to give him a break.
Re: Monday Bitchfest 3/14
I know it isn't even really spring yet but when will my building turn off the heat. It is always 75 or higher in my office.
