Fastest Flow Nipple is now too slow

Daycare believes my son's nipple size is getting too slow (showing signs of it as well - seems bored of the bottle, doesn't finish it all, etc.) but he will finish it all if they can manage to stretch his bottles out. Currently he is wanting to eat his 5oz bottles every 1.5-2 hours.

Should I try and make the nipple holes bigger? How do you make a baby wait longer between bottles? We are already trying to distract him with teethers which sometimes work but not always.

Maybe try transitioning him into a sippy cup instead of the bottle? Depending on the brand of bottle you have, most brands have a transitional nipple. Hang in there Mama you are doing great. These little humans are an ever evolving puzzle.
