Thankful Thursday 3/10

Today, I am thankful for....
Current pregnancy -
First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

  • The headache I had last night finally went away some time after 3 am.

  • @jhysmath that is definitely something to be thankful for

  • Thankful for getting to hear our babies heartbeat today for the first time. Definitely a lot of anxiety lifted today!
  • @dsmith211 that's so exciting! Every time I hear it, I breathe a little sigh of relief.

Also adding in thankful for my doppler, because I need to hear the hb after each time I tell someone because I'm so afraid that once I tell someone I'll have to untell them.

I will be *so* glad when I start getting movement.  Of course, with an anterior placenta, that's still likely to be awhile.  Boo.

  • @kboydbowman yeah anterior really sucks. I didn't feel my first until 24 weeks. I believe the placenta can still move for you though, with my first it was fundal at my 12 week US but moved to anterior by my 20 week one.
  • I think mine was anterior last time, too, and I was getting little bits of movement by 16-17 weeks, so maybe that will happen this time too.

  • Mine is anterior too :( anterior placentas unite! 🤪

I had an anterior placenta with my DD and I felt movement from ~16 weeks so there is hope you guys will too 😊

I am thankful for COVID travel restrictions in my state finally easing so I can see my family that live in a different state. 697 days of restricted travel into my state, 50 days of absolutely no travel into the state from anywhere else in Australia (not even if you were a returning citizen) and 160 days of absolutely no travel from the state my parents live in. Long story short - I am thankful that I get to see my parents on Tuesday after a very, very long 2 years.
