@krknmama@sunshine2417 I'm so sad. I kind of thought it might happen because I think I accidentally dumped out some of the anti clotting stuff. They asked me to reply to the email with my order number and address and they're sending me a new one but might take a few days

Ughhhh @mflowers929 I’m so sad for you but hope that you get your answers soon! Stupid test! I did the arm click one and it was actually a lot easier than the finger prick, which is what I did for my daughter’s pregnancy.
@sunshine2417 I had to go look at what that was and yes, that does look much easier. Unfortunately only the lancet type is available here in Canada for some reason =/ I was trying to do it last time after hubby went to work and trying to keep the toddlers away so I'll probably do it while he's home this time so he can keep them out of the way

I received tracking notice from the mail that it was delivered at 9am this morning, but SneakPeek lab has not confirmed it’s arrival to me yet and I’m just being terribly impatient! Oh the world of instant gratification that we’ve become accustomed to!
I just got my results back! When I bought it it said to wait 7 but when I impatiently checked the website again it said 6! I tested at exactly 7 weeks and it says GIRL😍😍. I actually went to a tarot reader recently (not my thing at all😂) who also insisted I was having a girl.
2nd test was also inconclusive. They're refunding my money which is nice, but I'm bummed (and a little nervous). I could use the funds to book a gender reveal ultrasound now, or I could just wait until my 20 week appointment. Not sure which way to go

@mflowers929 at least in my area even the gender reveal places usually wait until 14 weeks to let you know the gender, but if they’ll let you I’d say go for it, it’s probably not more expensive than sneak peek anyway. Are you doing genetic testing though? If you are over 10 weeks you could find out the gender that way
@manamo777 Yeah, I'd have to wait a little longer, but otherwise I'd have to wait until 20 weeks (or after, actually, since I'm going away during my 20th week). Not sure, gotta talk to hubby when he gets home. I am doing genetic testing, but here where I am at least (NB Canada) they don't include the gender on the report. I'm not sure why, maybe to reduce the chances of sex selective abortion? I know they also don't allow you to pick the gender if you have IVF in Canada so I think it may be related.

@mflowers929 that’s so frustrating! I’m sorry. Did they say how or why they couldn’t determine? Have you had an ultrasound to confirm one baby yet and not twins or something wild like that?
@sunshine2417 They just said that there either wasn't sufficient DNA or the quality of the DNA collected wasn't enough to make a determination. I've actually had two ultrasounds and yup, just one baby in there unless another was hiding!

I didn’t even know this “sneak peak “ test existed until reading this today. I have my genetic counseling appointment in two days though so I think I can handle the wait.
I can’t imagine waiting until the baby is born though! Im so amazed that people can do that when they have one or more than one opportunity to find out Sooner.
@mflowers929 Ugh! That’s such a bummer! I’ve been thinking about you, wondering if the results had come in.
Have you done any of the old wives’ tales? Ring on a string, the breast test, sweets or spice. I did the ring test for both my other kids and it was correct, same with three different friends. BUT, I actually water dowse for people who want to drill wells and haven’t come up wrong on any of those yet either. Maybe it’s related somehow? Deep subconscious?
@chuckle_sandwich I haven't. I did them with my daughter but hadn't thought to do them with this one yet. I will say that my symptoms and cravings are more similar to when I was pregnant with my son though, which is why I'm thinking it's another boy, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I got my blood work done yesterday for the NIPT test. This shows if the baby will have Down’s syndrome but also shows gender! You can do NIPT at 10 weeks. Planning to do a gender reveal later this month
I posted this in response to Ponyo, but at my appointment today they wound up doing an ultrasound (couldn't find the heartbeat on doppler) and baby is doing just fine. Was wiggling around and everything. They offered me a NT ultrasound since I'll be 35 at the birth. It'll be through the MFM where they have a 4d ultrasound, and I've heard that they can sometimes tell as early as the NT scan what gender the baby is with like 90% accuracy

My NIPT results came in on Monday but we've decided to do a gender reveal. My husband took the envelope to a bakery today to have a cake made. He decided since my birthday is in a few weeks to plan a combined celebration. So we will find out at my birthday brunch on May 14th. Which now seems SO far away given that had I just opened the envelope, I'd know already.
@mflowers929. So glad to hear everything turned out well! That sounds exciting to find out the gender so soon.
@autumn87654321. I am totally one of those people who does not find out until baby is born! It just means we get to think of even more names😁 (and argue about them too). It is a fun surprise at the end, but I totally get if people want to know ahead of time. I have also never had a feeling about the sex of my babies. When anyone asks what we are having we always say " a human baby we hope."
It’s not a sneak peak test, but I got my NIPT test results today , no abnormalities and a girl! My first is a boy he’ll be just shy of 2 when this little sister is born. So excited to have a boy and girl!
