I’ll start! I can choose between having my husband come to birthing class with me and he loses a visitation weekend with his 7 y/o due to the stupid right of refusal clause or I can go by myself. That right of refusal clause is a pain in the ass.
@laj0217 That's crazy you'd lose visitation for the whole weekend for not being available for a couple of hours! Do you have his 7yo every weekend? Is it possible to do a class during the week?
My MFB is the same as my rant in the check-in. Why can't the early 20yos I hire seem to be able to hack working and going to uni? They know what the job entails & they all quit within 3 months. Has uni changed or has the people?? I've been working full time since I was 18, a lot of it 12hr rotating shifts with the worst roster possible - I finished a bachelor with honours, had a baby, got married, and now completing my masters, and I've increased my working week by 12hrs as well. UGH.
I am so tired of being so tired. Also, some "private number" tried to call me like 3 times in the middle of the night last night which completely borked my sleep.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
Also, today is my day of the week at my regular job where I see patients. I have 11 clients today and I am NOT feeling it. Seven of them will likely be quick check-ins, but four will be "actual" visits and some of them are ones I really don't want to deal with today.
Don't wanna.

@kboydbowman I can't imagine doing your job while being pregnant and exhausted, especially with some rude person calling you in the middle of the nigh! Was it someone from the prison calling the wrong on call person maybe? Anyway, you're a super woman for dealing with all of that!
Honestly, I think it may have been an inmate who got a hold of a cell phone, because it was on my personal phone not my work phone....I'm probably going to talk to our investigative services unit today.

I am feeling completely pathetic! I'm doing almost nothing, and I'm still constantly exhausted. Yesterday I went to the barn and got a tiny bit of exercise (without riding), then spent the entire evening hobbling around with a terrible muscle cramp. My wonderful husband keeps pointing out that I do have the occasional better day and that this will improve with time, but right now I'm just sick of feeling useless.
First time mom-to-be, due 9/25/22
Some complicated chromosomal stuff going on - our fingers are crossed, but this may not go according to plan!
@wiseh we have visitation every other weekend and 3 full weeks in the summer and half of school holidays. The class is (1) 8-hr day and (1) 4-hour. Right of refusal comes into play at 4 hours. So, for example, in the summer, when I’m off and my husband works, I’ll drive my stepdaughter and we’ll meet my husband for lunch to break up his work day and not exceed the right of refusal. It’s crazy!
It sounds like you may have just been a very impressive uni student! I had a full course schedule and one of my 3 hr credits was an 18 hr/week internship. I nanny’d for a professor 2 hrs in the afternoon as well, but what you’re describing probably would have stressed me out too much to be successful!
Oh wow that sounds like a really comprehensive birthing class @laj0217!
Maybe I was, but I wasn't the only one that did that. We had a group of about 50 of us all doing different engineering degrees but all working at the same company. The workload is much lighter, it's just the hours - and all the work goes towards what you're learning at uni as it's the same industry they're studying in. I guess I'm just frustrated because they all know what's involved prior to starting and this one in particular just ghosted me! It took me 3 weeks before they eventually answered my call - could you imagine just not replying to your boss's emails, messages & calls for 3 weeks?
I really want Indian food. There is no Indian restaurant that is open within a 50 mile radious. I have a serious sad.

@mk2022x I think Washington is a bit far to drive for Indian food.
There used to be several others within a 15 mile radius, but they were all victims of COVID.
