My boobs hurt like a MF, and, for the first time in my life, I'm having insomnia, which SUCKS because I'm sooo tired! Last night, I was up every 2 hours 🤦🏽♀️ anyone have any pro tips on staying asleep without turning to meds?
I have the worst freaking “morning” sickness. It literally has wiped me out. I can’t do anything. I have a 1.5 year old boy at home so it’s incredibly difficult. I get so dizzy everytime I stand or throw up. It’s so terrible I feel so guilty. Thankfully my husbands been home a lot with PTO so that’s been fantastic for help, but I feel bad that he has to do everything . I feel like the worst mom ever cause we’ve been watching sooooooo much tv besides that I don’t have any symptoms really. I wish my boobs swelled like last time…but alas
I have been struggling terribly with insomnia to the point that I saw a sleep psychologist. He said to wake up at the same time every day (including weekends), regardless of how much sleep you get the night prior. He said our bodies will naturally adjust. Fingers crossed that it works!
I’m so glad to know I’m not the only one dealing with lack of sleep. It’s been hard to get comfortable and I’ve been having to pee more frequently through the night so I come back to bed wide awake… I just want sleep. I feel exhausted, I’ve been experiencing nausea too. I broke out in a rash all over my body, just small red bumps that are so itchy. I feel almost as if I’m running a low fever Bc of the warmness from the rash on my skin. Idk if it has anything to do with this pregnancy, but praying it will go away ASAP.
I was feeling great up until exactly the 6 week mark - I am 6 weeks 4 days now . Morning sickness (more like all day until about 3pm sickness) started, the thought of all food makes my stomach turn, I can’t even stand to be in my kitchen looking at food. There’s been a few days where certain things have sounded good to eat and I went ahead and got whatever it was just so that I’m getting some calories (and happiness lol) from food! I saw my doctor and she said to take some vitamin B6 with my prenatals to try to fight the nausea. Ginger ale has also been helpful. Other than the nausea, I feel not bad. Boobs are sore, still some cramping going on, but I’m sleeping well and a lot so I’m not super tired. Hopefully this morning sickness passes soon 🥲 I feel for everyone who is going through this also
@hayyyuh it's more than likely nothing, but if you're still rashy at your first appointment make sure you mention it. There are so many things in pregnancy that manifest as a rash and some of them are not great

This is gonna be a never-ending saga for me… long story short, I’m pretty sure DD gave me a stomach bug Wednesday and now I just have continuing pregnancy sickness from it because both kids were fine after 12 hours from their stomach bug episodes and here I am still dying 2.5 days later. 😩 Didn’t realize just how many food pages I follow on social media.
@mflowers929 Thank you, I’ll be sure to mention it once I get in to see my doctor. It looks like it’s finally going away slowly. No more itchy but the bumps are lightly there.
My first ultrasound (Wednesday) can't come soon enough. I really hope it's enough to alleviate my anxiety, otherwise I might have to increase my therapy frequency to deal with it. Right now it's "I'm feeling a lot better physically, what if that's bad!?" It doesn't help that as a FTM I have no prior experience to benchmark again. Trying to remember to counter with positive what ifs like "what if I'm just lucky and won't be sick and sore the whole first trimester?"
@fantasyflyte I’ve had sooooo many friends who actually had really great pregnancies! Very few symptoms until the end, no sickness, etc. Everyone responds differently. I actually have two friends and a cousin who say they “love” being pregnant, and how their body actually feels normalized during pregnancy with the hormones etc. I used live in quotations because it’s 100% their words and so far from my reality, however, it is true that everyone is so different and your experience will be unique. Try to affirm your self and your body for where you’re at and the journey your on. Anxiety is an ugly beast, and know that it’s not you.
My nose has gotten way more sensitive this pregnancy than in previous pregnancies. And guys, my dog is old and super incontinent (I really just need to call the vet...) and I literally throw up in my mouth every time I have to clean up his messes.

@ponyoisfun it's kiiiiillling me. We're putting him down but I wanted to wait until it was nicer out so he could have a nice last day but I don't know if I can last T.T He does it inside a lot, but then also when he goes outside he falls down and pees on himself, or squishes his poo all over. It's gross, but I also feel like I owe it to him? IDK man, it's hard

Ugh I know, I can smell eeeeeverything. Someone with a perfume or lotion walked by my office at least a half hour ago and they're still all I can smell.
It’s so good to hear I’m not alone with these nauseous symptoms, because since Friday it’s been kicking my ass! I feel hungry and nauseous at the same time, while also constipated so this entire mix isn’t helping. I’m also in the boat of whatever sounds good I’m eating, because at this point it’s about survival!
