I've seen a lot of us having a rough time lately... I think this may be a good time for us to come up with some things we are thankful for. (It's not needed weekly or monthly but I do think it deserves a thread for now.)
List three (or one, or two) things you are grateful for in your life.
Re: Three Thanks Thursday
3. My toddler (the one in the horrible mood that I’ve been raging about) is napping for 1.5-2 hours daily and the break is such a gift.
1) This group of you amazing women! You all have a special place in my day to come on here and get information and just be part of a cool community of people going through the same things I am!
2) My water bottle. It keeps my water cold for soooo long! It's by Hydragear and its cute, too! I've had it a long time but just started using it a lot in the last couple of months.
3) The weather. I'm so grateful for the cool AND dry weather lately in my area. I feel good enough to go out and play in the yard with my dogs and now the weather is cooperating with us to allow it!
2. Since I'll be 36+ weeks during state testing, they took me off the proctor list! (woot woot!)
3. My Husband. Even when I gripe about him, he really is my biggest supporter and I'm so glad our DS is gonna have such an amazing Dad to look up too!
Thank you, @taylorharris0522 this was a great idea! Of course, I'm thankful for this group and all you ladies too! Especially as a FTM, I love reading and getting different perspectives on things.
2. A totally understanding and sympathetic husband. He gets upset with me when I try to do anything besides lay around and rest. He knows how hard this has been on my body and is so concerned for me.
3. My husband's aunt and uncle bought us our $300 double stroller. That thing will get so much use over the next few years and was the most expensive thing on our registry!

2. 80 degree weather! All of the kiddos have gotten to play outside today and hopefully will sleep well tonight
3. My Sunday school class - some women from my church have decided they even though this is the 4th baby, they want to host a diaper shower and set up a meal train post delivery. Such a blessing to know some of those issues will be taken care of!
3. My health. Just over a year ago I was in a really bad place health wise and I’ve completely been able to turn over not just a new leaf, but literally like an entire tree. It’s not been easy but it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done and I’m healthier now than ever before.
1. My health and energy. I’m still running high, which is so great. Most evenings I am puttering around doing stuff to prep for baby, cleaning, a little niggly house thing or at the gym. I do give myself some grace and rest when I need to, but very grateful I can still do all the things that help me feel like me.
2. Our move. We moved in July and, while it’s been hectic and overwhelming at times, we are so happy with the move! After doing my last mat leave pretty well totally alone, we are 1.3 hrs from my parents and 17 mins from my brother (who’s kids are the same age. Including expecting a new little one this spring). Our neighbourhood is ridiculously friendly and we have more friends on our street here, even with covid forcing people to keep to themselves, than we did in our previous neighbourhood that we lived in for nearly 10 years. 2 of said neighbours are due with babies in June as well so that’ll be super fun!
3. My husband. While he rarely says the right thing and hasn’t really “stepped up” like some of you say of yours, he puts up with my moodiness, makes me laugh every day and does so much in the background to ensure that my (and our family) life runs smoothly. And I know, from experience, that when the baby is born THAT’s when he takes over the house stuff and older kids when I really do need to take a step back and recover while obsessing over the newest member of our family.
I'm thankful for:
1. The end of winter, so I can finally plant my hydrangeas.
2. DH for supporting me through this and everything else we've been through recently.
3. Only being 9 weeks until LO is finally here. The countdown is getting so close, feels like time is flying by.
1. less than 55 days until baby! I can’t believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone especially since parts of it seemed to drag on forever.
