Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Wednesday 3/2

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

  • Getting it in early today! Lol

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 11

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, cm, pnv

R/R: So tired today. I was the actual version of a teacher meme this morning, and I’m not even sorry 😝 my husband literally had to pull me out of bed. My teammate really made me mad last night during conferences and I’m not sure if I should even say anything. I have to pick my battles with her, so I’m trying to decide whether it upset me to that level. Story in spoiler, mention of children.

She was super unprofessional in a conference last night with one of my classroom parents, asking why this child isn’t on ADHD meds, even after the mom said the meds make him sick. I’m just going to reinforce with my student teacher that that’s not the appropriate way to approach that situation. 🙄
CS/Q: Finally in the double digits of cycle days… starting OPK’s soon!

  • @ejoseph16 ugh, that is tough. Is this person a co-teacher in your room, or just another teacher that the student has? What grade do you teach again? DH is a high school science teacher and the amount of BS and politics that affect teachers is truly mind-blowing.

    Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD: 3

WAYDTGKU: CM, CP, OPKs, PNVs, HIO

R/R: Rave: Call was uneventful, and it looks like a pretty light day today! Rant: I had truly *awful* cramps that woke me from sleep last night. I was so wiped out I didn't get up to work out this morning.

    CS/Q: Nada
  • @ejoseph16 oof that sounds like a very uncomfortable situation, for you and for the parent. That seems a little like stepping over the line?
@bbrahmbhatt Horray for light day! but boo for horrible cramps. I think the middle of the ones are the worst as it catches you off guard before you can take pain meds. And then you don't want to get out of bed so you suffer.

    Month/Cycle: 14/1 AL

CD: I thought 17, but who knows.

    WAYDTGKU: HIO, OPK, CoQ10, pnv

R/R: Just annoyed at my 2nd day of spotting and now cramping. Either get on with it and flow or go away. This will be weird going from WTO to WTO and no TWW in between. But I guess I should learn to expect the unexpected.

  • @bbrahmbhatt I teach 3rd grade. We are departmentalized, so I am ELA/SS and this teacher is my partner, she does Math/Science for my homeroom. So this was my homeroom kiddo and he’s such a sweetheart, but I absolutely share in her concerns. It just broke my heart hearing the poor momma so stressed over it.

@bearmomma1 she definitely crossed a line. But she is notorious for it. My admin switched me to being her teammate this year because we are 100% opposites. Parents from both home rooms come to me for things instead of her. So it has added to my workload this year for sure. She’s looking into moving to 2nd grade next year (she hates being departmentalized), so I’m hopeful that happens.
