Has anyone does this? And what was your experience?

I’ve never heard of doing it in your first trimester. Theoretically, it helps induce you into labor once you’re actually full term and probably thisclose to delivery anyway.

This is definitely not a first trimester thing. 

I had my membranes stripped once in my first pregnancy and twice in my second and it didn’t do anything. I had to be induced both times anyways.

I was past my due date when I got this done with my first. It’s very uncomfortable and it didn’t do anything. I had to be induced. I chose not to do it with my second and I won’t with my third baby.

Thanks ladies for your comments. I know its something that you dont do in the first trimester its for the ending of the pregnancy. I was just curious if anyone had experience with it. As I just learned about it. Sounds like it didn't do much.
