Hello! So excited to actually be joining this website and get to participate in it after a few years of wishing and waiting! 

Ages (you and SO): I am 29 and my DH is 27.

How many months have you been TTC?: We are just getting started! I'm just getting off the pill and we will start very soon.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Nothing yet! I'm just trying to be healthier and see if I can lose a bit more weight before we can make it happen. We are planning on being a bit more casual about it the first few months, then in the summer, we will start being more intentional about it. Although I will definitely be less casual than DH, I'm a planner and I don't know that I can really do casual, although I'll try my best. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids, we have a shiba inu and two cats. I'm a school social worker, so similar to a counselor. DH works with a couple of guys on repairing and selling arcade machines. We are both nerds, video games are probably our biggest hobby, we are big readers, we enjoy movies.

Thank you! Yes, we feel really lucky that he has this job. It is a newer job for him and he loves it. He struggled to find a job that didn't make him miserable for years and finally, he found one

I grew up on SNES! You can't beat those games.



Nintendo girl in my heart, but we like a lot of Nintendo and Playstation games. Lately have been playing Persona 3, New Pokemon Snap, and Pokemon Arceus. Although Horizon Forbidden West is coming out soon so that will be next on the list.

Hi all!

My name is Brittany and I am starting my TTC journey. I finished my first round of clomid and I am on CD 25. I GOT A POSITIVE OVULATION TEST TODAY.

Ages (you and SO): I'M 32 AND MY SO IS 26

How many months have you been TTC?: 11 MONTHS

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: CLOMID, OPKS AND BABY DANCING

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)

My SO has one son who is six years old. I have no kids. We have two cats and two full-time jobs and we are home bodies. We are silly and love to watch movies and ride our bikes. We are hoping to have a sweet babe within the next 2 years, the sooner the better.

@woobeewoo I was a school social worker until the end of December! It was rough but amazing. Just a touch too far of a commute and the school system is very trying right now.

Wanted to introduce myself here. 

Ages (you and SO): just turned 29, husband is 28

How many months have you been TTC?: 1 month sorta...*TW* we suffered through a miscarriage in January and are ready to try again. 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: trying to live a healthy life and track my cycle again after my D&C. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc. 
I am a radiation therapist and manage a clinic in Alaska. We've been living here for 4 years now. I spend a lot of time (and $) on my horse who I love to ride and work with. We also have a rescue pup. I also love to cook, bake, exercise, ski and hike!

Hello! I've been on around on other boards, but haven't participated here before. I've been lurking a little while and felt like it might be time to introduce myself. So, hi! I've heard really nice things about this community and I look forward to getting to know you all. I see some familiar names from previous BMB as well, nice to see you ladies again.  

Ages (you and SO): Both 38. I'll be 39 in a few weeks. 

How many months have you been TTC?: 7

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I'm currently benched, but otherwise tracking BBT and CM, and sometimes OPK. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm an immunologist by training, medical writer by trade. I've been married to my husband 11 years, together 20. I like to work out, read, garden, and cook. I used to be a knitter, but it's been a while since I've picked up the needles. 

TW - living children and pregnancy loss

I have 2 kids, 6 and almost 3. We started trying for #3 last August and got pregnant the first try, but had a spontaneous early miscarriage. I got pregnant again in November but 2 weeks ago I had a D&C for a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. I'm on the bench pending the return of my cycle and some very basic recurrent pregnancy loss testing.

@savagebeebi Hi there! Given that you're already on Clomid, do you have a diagnosis? Are you still under the care of your OB? Feel free to dip your toes into the weekly IF thread. We've got lots of collective experience on ovulation induction, IUIs, IVF and more. 
@wunderkai Hi there! Welcome welcome. I hope your stay here is short but sweet. We previously had a member here who also lived in Alaska so I'm looking forward to learning more about your life there. But obviously, hopefully not too much because you'll soon be on your way to a BMB. 
@maggiemadeit welcome welcome. Selfishly, it's nice to see another "older" member of the community here. I'm truly sorry about your losses. Hopefully the RPL panel gives you some answer. It's very good that your OB is on the ball, having you do that since many OBs usually wait until 3+ losses. Did you have your last pregnancy tested for chromosomal abnormalities?
