I'm an awful person. I've now seen two FTMs on my Facebook timeline who have shown their "baby" bumps from 10 weeks or less. One of them even took a few maternity shot type pictures right at 9 weeks.

Bloat, ladies. Those are bloat bumps and your husband is holding nothing but your gas and retained water. 🙈🙊

My FFFC is that since my MIL spoiled our surprise announcement to DH’s siblings last kid, I want to tell her last. We told her in person with DS and specifically asked her not to say anything so we could tell his siblings the following week in person. She went home that exact same night and told his sister. So I think she has earned last to find out.

I refused to show my husband's grandma our ultrasound this time. Last time she kept asking me if there were two in there, clearly pointing out my excessive weight gain. One of those times was the day after I got chided by my doctor. It irritated me SO much because she saw the ultrasound and I kept saying, "nope, just one." I don't care how old you are; if you're in your right mind (she is), you have no excuse for being so rude.

My confession. I haven't told my husband yet. I'm 10 weeks and today I had my first appointment and ultrasound. I want to tell him so bad but, he can't keep a secret and will tell everyone before I am ready

I've been listening to this funny pregnancy podcast called Big Fat Positive. On one segment they divulged their embarrassing Google search history, so I thought I'd confess my search history for the last 48 hours. I mean the sheer volume of baby obsessed googling, guys...but I know I can't be the only one 🤔

haha mine only includes one pregnancy related one, but that's because my dad has been in town so i've been googling places to eat and things to do....

@mokay19 I'm right there with you. Last time we told MIL very early and asked her not to tell anyone until we were in the second trimester. Spoiler: she did anyway. So this time we're not telling DH's family until we're ready for the world to know. We will still tell them first of course, but not until we'd be fine with her sharing with other people.

At 6 weeks I told my mom because were really close. My husband decided this means he should also tell his mom. This pregnancy will be kids #3 & #4. Her response was “well this seems to be what you want.” It’s been a month and she hasn’t texted or called once to ask how things are going.

Yes as of my 6w and 7w scans. I go for my 10w scan tomorrow. Fingers crossed all is well.
