R/R: rant only. #$@& I didn't expect to be back in wto, and so soon. My last LP was 6-7 days. $&@#. Also grumpy due to normal non-ttc cd 1 grumpiness. I'll be more composed tomorrow and for the rest of my 3 week stay in the wto, today I'm just so upset.

*lurkiing* @sejica i keep meaning to comment that i find it way funnier than i should that you have a bird for your profile pic alongside the seed cycling thing. i'm a friendly audience/cheap date what can i say. also when i first started TTC i spent some time looking at seed cycling stuff and decided it wasn't for me because cycle regularity is not my deal, but

i do know a woman with pcos who successfully conceived and feels that the seed cycling was helpful for her, so who knows!

if your lp is often that short or even if it's usually a couple days longer than that, though, and if you're amenable to more interventionist methods, you may wanna get medical science involved in the form of progesterone support. that lp is not long enough to accommodate implantation.

@optimistgardener thanks for the support, I'm definitely considering progesterone, but had assumed I needed a prescription and hadn't looked into it further to even decide if suppository/oral/cream would be my best bet. My next gyn appt isn't until June, so I'm resigned to waiting til then to decide if maybe we should stop ttc or get more aggressive. My LP is regularly on the short side of 10 days, but I agree, 7 is ridiculous. I do have a 10 year PCOS diagnosis, so I shouldn't be surprised, it just stings a little on a cycle with such great timing. I'm just salty today.

I have been lucky enough to have 3 kids, despite my borderline LP, and was hoping to be so lucky again without having to figure out how to afford an re/if specialist and medications.

@sejica as excited as I am that we are overlapping in WTO for a few days, I do hate that you’re on CD1… I don’t blame you for the words.

R/R: Day 3 of now work due to snowpocalypse. This time our superintendent closed school at 5:00 last night. Glad I at least didn’t pack my lunch this time. In other news, SUPER EXCITED to be close to O! We are going to start upping our game tonight, it’s time. 

CS/Q: Still low readings on my OPK, but I know the spike is coming in the next few days based off of CM.

@sejica I'm sorry to see you here. And also 6-7 day LP is suspicious. Did you always have issues with your LP even in previous pregnancies? YH is just gonna have to rally for another great timing session. Lol. 

@ejoseph16 I hope you're still finding ways to enjoy the snow, despite the repetitiveness.

R/R: I decided to hang around here for one more day since I didn't get a clear indication from Oura that my temps have shifted. Plus, I felt up my cervix today and it still felt kinda open (not that I know what I'm doing) so I told my husband that "we might have to have sex again tonight" and his reply to me was "I will spend the whole day mentally preparing." LOL. 

I have a friend coming and staying with us this weekend because she's ridiculous and is running 100K tomorrow. The race is basically in our backyard so I offered that she hang out with us, despite the state of disarray of our new place. So it'll be exciting to have a visitor so soon after we moved! She's carb-loading tonight, but since I can't have gluten or dairy, I'm planning on making my vegan alfredo sauce and having some brown rice elbow noodles with Dayia cheese. 

CS/Q: Already lamented about it in my update.

@sejica I use a prog cream, can find it on amazon and a lot of other sites.  Also got admitted to a local med help group so I'm getting some PIO for next cycle. Definitely stock up on some veggies that are high in progesterone.  

@acleverusername what type of herbs? I'm always into crunchy things. Also go your friend. I have a friend that did a 99K. It's crazy.

@acleverusername well we were finally allowed to leave the house today and that helped!

yesterday we did all of our fun snow stuff with our 2 year old son, so today he went to the sitter so we could have a quiet day. I just woke up from a nap, which I never get. 

I’m really just trying to use these days to take a mental break from work. They came at the perfect time in the school year!

@sejica if you can't get in to see your OB until June, I would recommend use an app like Push Health. They'll prescribe the progesterone to you. Just tell you're in between prescriptions and won't see your OB until June. Ask for 100mg dose, that should be a good intro does. See if they can get you white caps. They keep sending me orange ones, and they make such a mess of my underwear!

@caseys02 oh these are "mixed specifically for me" herbs. I don't know what's exactly in them, but they're supposed align my Qi, clear out my kidneys, move my blood, etc. Very complex stuff! This page describes some of the herbs I'm taking.
