I watched an episode of Queer Eye where they helped a newly transitioned transwoman (Angel) and sobbed like four times last night.

Am I the only one LESS emotional than they were pre-pregnancy?? I have watched lots of things that I know would have previously made me tear up, but I’m dry eyed and cool as a cucumber. 

For instance, I was watching something where someone recovering from a meth addiction had surgery to get new teeth and she was so happy about her new smile and it was beautiful! Normally I would have been straight-up sobbing over something like that, but last night I was just super happy for her and that was basically it! I guess I should be grateful but I feel like there’s something wrong with me!

@blanket_girl I've only had girls, but I wonder if having more testosterone running through you is your having a boy could cause that. My husband makes fun of me because I get all weepy for silly reasons.

@jhysmath that could be! I have a feeling this is a boy, so it would be very interesting theory if it turned out to be the case

I ordered oatmeal from Starbucks with all the toppings except nuts this morning. I just got to work and they only gave me nuts... now I can't look at it. Its the only thing I can tolerate eating in the morning so huge bummer.

I’ve had afternoon nausea and last night the only thing that sounded appetizing was chicken strips and fries. So we go out and try a place that we thought would have them. We sit down and look at the menu and they only have seafood! Literally every single item on the menu. Not even a side of rice or mashed potatoes! The thought of seafood was absolutely repulsive of course. We didn’t want to be rude so my husband ordered something to go and we sat and waited for it while I was on the verge of tears over a ruined chicken strip date night. He sweetly offered to stop at any chicken strip restaurant that offered takeout on the way home and I stubbornly declined, stating I would just eat crackers for dinner when we got home.

Olympics, man.  Lindsay Jacob-Ellis and Nick Baumgartner both in their last Olympics in the mixed snowboard cross and pulling out the gold - this is the first Olympics she's ever gotten a gold and the first Olympic medal he's ever won.

What haven’t I cried at?

Most recently, I cried during the season finale of the Book of Boba Fett bc a couple of admittedly minor characters died (trying not to do spoilers 😮‍💨). I sobbed and sobbed for like 20 minutes after and my husband just kinda stared and tried to smile reassuringly 🤣

Today, I cried at my desk at work, because I found out that my grandma didn't invite my cousins to my papa's birthday lunch just my two sisters and I. Then I was sad at the blatant favouritism and I was gone.

Definitely got all weepy watching the electric Kia commercial with the cute electronic pup running after the car and losing battery 😭 and then he’s charged up! Ugh all the feels hahaha

Started sobbing on the floor of my office at work because some friends wanted to hang out tonight. I just. don’t. want. to. do. anything after working a 10 hour day 5 days a week. Cried because I’m sick of “saying no”, but I just lack any sort of ambition or energy after 5pm!

I try really hard not to cry because it's guaranteed to make me throw up but I often feel like crying because I have to eat...again.😭

Just watched the last episode of After Life on Netflix and balled. 😭 Tbh I think it would’ve made me cry even if I weren’t pregnant. Really good show. 

A few weeks ago I cried on a weekend morning because my husband said he was taking our dog to the dog park. I had been waiting for him to come upstairs and have breakfast with me. 😂 He was very understanding of my pregnant crazy brain and came up to have breakfast and went to the dog park later

Last night my husband and I were driving to go see his parents for the first time since I got pregnant (they know).

He stopped at a gas station because I had to pee. I went inside, peed, and then I started dry heaving out of no where- this is the first time this has happened to me not in the morning. I didn’t throw up but I still felt bad. I walked out and grabbed a Gatorade and went to pay.

The older gentleman checking me out was SO NICE. I’m fairly certain he heard me dry heaving because he said “hey darlin’, can I offer you a cup of ice?” I got out to the car and started BAWLING because he was nice and I was embarrassed and I could feel in my bones that I was going to puke for real later. My husband was so confused 😅

@ashking0922 that was sweet of that guy. Hope you're feeling better! Feeling sick is bad enough and away from home is WAY worse!
