@and_peggy you know, I knew I was forgetting something. But with my stressful morning it didn’t even hit me until right now. Thank you for starting this!! ❤️
Previous loss(es)? I feel like y’all already know so I don’t want to type it out again.
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? I think this week I’ve been more connected to the baby. Possibly feeling flutters. Still spotting here and there but the nausea and symptoms are gone thankfully. Few headaches but overall I feel good.
Any appointment updates? Just a thyroid appt on Monday - they changed my meds.
Any big milestones? Last week of first trimester. Super ready. It feels like it’s going fast. Passing my d&c date this week so that feels huge. I think once I see baby again or feel real movement, I’ll start connecting a bit more.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My sister is letting me use any baby stuff I want so aside from buying a few new things, I don’t have to buy anything! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Previous loss(es) (share as much or as little as you like)?
An early miscarriage between DS1 and DS2, and then back to back miscarriages at 11 and 8 weeks before DS3
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Today is a pretty good day. I feel pretty hopeful. The morning sickness ((all day long)) is so much better now that they finally sorted my meds out. But I am so exhausted. MH has been work from home this week and I just take all the naps. But the all day headaches are the worst.
Any appointment updates?
Nope. Next appointment is for the nuchal on 10 February
Any big milestones? The nuchal scan coincides with my latest loss so I have all the feels leading up to it and then things should calm down some after that.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Not today.
@and_peggy those little flutters have to be helping. I hope you have seen the last of the bleeding and the spotting.
@and_peggy So, so glad your nausea and headaches are fading. I hope those disappear for you this week, along with the spotting! Passing those date milestones from previous losses feels so good. And yay for shared baby stuff!
@mdfarmchick I'm glad you're getting to rest this week and that your meds got sorted out! Sending lots of good vibes for a perfect nuchal scan in a couple of weeks.
Weeks/EDD? 10+3
Previous loss(es) (share as much or as little as you like)? Blighted ovum discovered at 7 weeks last January, emergency D&C at 10.5 weeks. Two *suspected* CPs last summer. Unexplained loss at 9 weeks in October.
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Emotionally much better after another ultrasound this week. Starting to get excited finally! Physically, tired and a little nauseated, but nothing too bad.
Any appointment updates? 12-week graduation appointment & ultrasound with my RE on Feb. 8, then first appointment with my OB on Feb. 11. I'm not sure if we'll have an ultrasound with that appointment or not yet.
Any big milestones? Baby's sex was already visible on the ultrasound on Tuesday! We did the Sneak Peek test at 7 weeks but I was a little anxious about contamination. But it was right!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Is anyone else already getting the urge to start decorating baby's room and installing an infant car seat? Lol. I'm losing it, but it feels good to feel excited.
@and_peggy I saw your update on the other thread your sister was letting you use her stuff. That's so awesome! Maybe I missed this on another thread, but did you end up purging baby stuff after baby #4?
@aukeev YAY! Congrats on graduating from your RE & congrats on confirming you're having a boy.
Weeks/EDD? 8/6, 12 +5
Previous loss(es) (share as much or as little as you like)? Loss before DS @ 6W and after DS @ 7W.
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Overall pretty good. I'm feeling comfortable talking about the pregnancy and sharing it with OP. Connection to baby is slowly forming, but still not quite there yet.
Any appointment updates? I ranted about my last appointment on the weekly thread, but on the positive side I did get to hear the heartbeat. It was a lot easier to find this time than at my 10 week appointment, which was very reassuring.
Any big milestones? Not a TTCAL milestone, but hitting second tri on Saturday and I can not wait!
Rants/Raves/Questions? My cousin got engaged over the weekend and we've been trying to find time to chat so she can tell me the story but it keeps falling through... sigh.
@darkrose88 I gave away quite a bit but I had the sense enough to keep some things. My infant seat was used for 4 kids and was going to expire so I threw it out. Would have had to replace regardless. I honestly never had much gear. I did keep a pack n play and my Lillebaby. We have a crib that DS3 is in now. Got rid of girl clothes (my daughter is 5 so they’re long gone but some I may be able to recoup (my SIL and a friend that has them). I gave away boy clothes up until size 12 months so I atleast have some stuff. And gave away K’tan and swaddles (all 4 hated swaddling though so I’m not sure it matters much).
So the only things I would have bought: - rocker/bouncer that I can transport from room to room, nothing bulky or stationary. - carseat - ktan - clothes/swaddles (I buy resale anyway so I’ll be able to get what I need pretty inexpensively)
@and_peggy so great that you sister is letting you use everything! And at least you kept most of the bigger things! Also yay for finally feeling better!!
@mdfarmchick so glad you’re able to get some of the rest that you need! I’ve been napping everyday too!
@Aukeev I’m with you on the cautious excitement this week! I’m finding myself looking at baby clothes and stuff online! I’m so glad your sneak peek was right! I’m so eager to learn why this baby is going to be. All these ladies here with 3 boys in a row are scaring me 🙈🤣 ultimately as long as baby is healthy we’ll be happy either way!
@darkrose88 so nice that you’re feeling comfortable talking to op about pregnancy! Congratulations to your cousin! That’s exciting! I hope you get to chat with her soon!
Weeks/EDD? 12 weeks & 8/11
Previous loss(es) (share as much or as little as you like)? Mc @ 5weeks in July 2021
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? 12 weeks feels like a huge week for some reason! So I’m feeling good emotionally. Physically I feel sooooo much better! I’m still tired in the afternoons and I’m having some headaches but the nausea is basically gone! Unless I’m brushing my teeth. Still gagging the whole time.
Any appointment updates? Dr appt and nt scan on Monday and I’m super anxious. I plan on begging to get a potty shot but the tech I’m seeing doesn’t have the best personality so it’s 50/50.
Any big milestones? 12 weeks feels big? Idk. Second Tri here we come!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Y’all have probably read it all in Randoms at this point. It’s been a crappy last couple days but I’m trying to stay positive. I’m super looking forward to our vacation in the beginning of march, which seems to be coming up quickly, probably because I’m so focused on this pregnancy!
@paytonpedro Yesss. Baby clothes shopping is the best! I'm glad you're feeling better. The second tri is so close! I'm jealous of all of you in week 12 already! I must have missed your comment in randoms - I'll have to head over there. Yay for vacations! Hopefully it will be a good time to relax and disconnect from real world things.
Previous loss(es) (share as much or as little as you like)? 4 unexplained losses, two CP and two MMC between Dec ‘17 and June ‘18 (followed by a healthy full term pregnancy)
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically?
Still get nauseous if I don’t eat enough but mostly feel pretty good. Emotionally still anxious as always, but having the home Doppler helps. Maybe I’ll relax once I hit viability?
Any appointment updates? Had a quick appointment yesterday to check on baby before my NIPT blood draw. I was disappointed they used the handheld u/s instead of the beside so we couldn’t really get a great view of baby and no picture. I’ll be pretty nervous this next week waiting for the test results, if we get really bad news we won’t continue the pregnancy.
Any big milestones? We found out about one of our MMC at the NT scan so really just want to get to 2nd tri.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I’m so sick of this insomnia and being freezing cold all the damn time 🥶

@and_peggy oh that's not that bad then! Honestly, I feel like a lot of baby things are overhyped & you really don't need much for a baby so I totally feel you on not having much to begin with. Sounds like everything you're getting is practical things you'll need.
I missed last week I think but didn't feel like there was much to update
Weeks/EDD? 11+3
Previous loss(es) (share as much or as little as you like)? 5 early losses
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? still feeling a mix of nothing, panic and shock that the days keep ticking by that I'm still pregnant. I still fee nauseated pretty much all day and then am waking up pretty often to pee too; so I'm tired on top of tired.
Any appointment updates? Yes! Had my intake appt on Tuesday and they were able to find the heartbeat on the doppler right away. I was also able to do the NIPT yesterday. Now I will be furiously checking my account every day to see if the results have come in.
Any big milestones? Doing my intake and getting the NIPT test this week! Next appt is in early March.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Really ready to be done feeling sick all day long. I'd like to start exercising again and between the cold weather outside and feeling sick, I haven't been able to.
Previous loss(es) (share as much or as little as you like) -Lost twin sons at 20 weeks in 2014 -Lost a son at 12 days old (his twin brother is now 4) in 2017 -Lost a daughter at 14 weeks in 2019
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? -Soooooo tired. Emotionally on autopilot
Any appointment updates? -We had an ultrasound earlier this week. All 4 babies are right on track!
-This coming Wednesday I have an appointment with the high risk team. They are placing an Arabian pessary under my transabdominal cerclage to give my cervix extra support to avoid preterm labor
Any big milestones? - Not really
Rants/Raves/Questions? - I'm trying to keep myself from getting too excited but as we inch closer to the second trimester and having had the most recent ultrasound it's starting to feel kind of really that we are actually pregnant with quads
I mentioned in appts. that I have my nt scan today and I’m so anxious about it! I just hope baby is wiggly and good in there, but pgal is really getting me today. I was bored last week so I did a funsies amazon registry (totally based off having a girl, because why not) and bought a cup holder for a stroller off it that I needed anyways. Now I have the “welcome” package coming and I feel like I did it too soon and everything is going to go wrong. I’m spiraling. I’m going to go clean until my appt. to try and take my mind off of this and I’ll be back later to update!
