Ugh, every Wednesday I keep wanting to participate but then I look in the mirror and I'm just not ready. I have a small frame and no torso, so what "bump" I have is this two-tiered situation in which the top bump is actually my stomach and other internal organs that have been pushed upward due to the growing uterus, and the bottom bump is bloat. Not cute. So I'll hold off for yet another week and keep enjoying yours
@wisewitch222 I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I don't really see a difference because I'm not thin to begin with. I think I'll be waiting a few more weeks before I start to see a difference. I definitely feel it. For now, I'm loving seeing all these tiny bumps! So sweet and love them!
@wisewitch222 THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS. As a small framed person, I was wondering if I truly was gaining fat or baby! I look SO awkward. Although it stinks for both of us, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one in this boat.
@brittanynmorris Yeah, it's pretty terrible. Our long-torsoed friends have identifiable tiny baby bumps (cute) and we just have a big squished together mess. I will say that actual maternity clothes do help in defining the bump in this earlier period, but they don't *quite* fit me yet.
My problem is that I have this “fun” little “covid pooch” that developed over the past 2 years so when I try to take a photo, that’s all I can see still.
I can tell there’s been a little bump action happening further down because I can’t see my hip bones anymore but it’s not showing up in a picture yet.
Loving the bumps that are showing up! Keep them coming ladies. It’s hard for me to tell if my belly is bump or the COVID 20 I picked up during the last couple of years. Hopefully after my scan this Tuesday I’ll look and feel more pregnant
After my d&c, I did not lose the weight, and I’ve had this awkward layer of fat that was a constant reminder I was no longer pregnant. So I’m still a bit self conscious about it because my bump is definitely not firm like it was with the other 4. I’m trying to embrace it anyway because now it’s a reminder of the gift we were given.
@and_peggy I’ve had multiple surgeries on my abdomen both related to Pg and not. I guess I’ve never gotten used to my PP body after DD I used to have a super flat stomach.

also I was heavier when I just experienced my last loss and they had to open me up bc of the rupture. So add me in the same boat with you and add scar tissue.
I do like your outlook on being grateful to your body. I’m still in the scared to be happy boat due to recent events. 🙁
@wisewitch222 haha yup you described me exactly. I didn’t get a real bump until 20+ weeks last pregnancy

Shared or not, all these bumps and bodies growing babies are beautiful. Acceptance and confidence in our bodies is so hard, especially when it hasn't been an easy road. Sending a lot of love and support to all the mamas and mamas-to-be who are trying to love themselves today and every day. You are beautiful and your body is amazing
FTM - About 5 lbs different between pre-baby and 6 weeks (had a vacation, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in there too), then no weight difference between 6 and 12. Some days I wonder if it's still bloat, but I think I'm officially calling it a bump.
Ok I’ll play along this week, but only because it looks like a bump and not just bloat/fluff like last week. I’ll spoil my 4 week picture. 12 weeks/ ttm. Sorry if it’s huge, I’m bumping mobile.
Thank you @wigglyicecream & @maggiemadeit !!! The stickers are on an app called Photofy. I think I had to pay for them but I got them for my last pregnancy so I don’t remember. But the app is free and there might be others for free.
