Progesterone & hcg levels dropping

Hi ladies, just trying to figure out what is going on with my pregnancy  and if I’m going to miscarry. My progesterone levels went from 8.88 to 7.10 in 5 days. Now hcg is low. I haven’t had an ultrasound yet, I just hit 7 weeks. Has anyone experienced this? I’ve had some pregnancy symptoms but not like my first. No bleeding so far.

I don’t think anyone but a doctor can tell you what’s going on, but typically you have two HCG draws done and don’t look at a single number to determine viability. Progesterone dropping doesn’t guarantee a loss. HCG also varies quite a bit from person to person, as you can see from this chart, which is why it’s important to have a 2nd draw.

Hi. Have you called your doctor for an appointment? I assume if you have your levels, you’ve been somewhere already. I’d call for a scan.

Unfortunately, if your hcg is dropping, that’s typically not a positive sign. I hope it all turns out positive for you.
