Re: TTCAL w/o 1/3

  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. MC at 8 weeks in Aug. 2021 and CP in Dec. 2021

    Status: TWW

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Eh, going okay. I commented in the dailies that I was glad to have no symptoms from progesterone (which I am!), but it is also slightly unnerving. Like, is it working? Am I doing something wrong? Basically I apparently will overthink everything.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? I'd prefer not to test but I'll test when AF is due so I can stop progesterone. As far as other types of testing, I got my TSH results and it is 2.7. That is within normal range, but the CNM made a comment in my online results that some doctors like to see it under 2 when TTC. I sent a message asking for more information, but does anyone else have any insight about TSH recommendations while I wait to hear back?

    Questions? See above

GTKY: What is something you're looking forward to this year? I am looking forward to having hopefully a more balanced year in terms of how I spend my time. I am making a concerted effort to make time for the things that are important to me and letting some of the other things go.

I know, sometimes now symptoms can be just as distressing as having the side effects. Hopefully all goes well with you, though and that Progesterone does its job.

Well, I guess I'm qualified to post here now.

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc.
I found out I was pregnant on Christmas and miscarried on New Years day at 5 weeks.

Status: Benched for now. I'm just too physically and emotionally exhausted to pick back up with ttc right now, but hopefully in the near future I'll be able to get my head back in the game.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well?
Things are hitting a little harder now. I wasn't pregnant for very long, but it was long enough to get excited and start some future planning, so I'm feeling the loss of that hope.
Still, I'm reminding myself that things could be a lot worse and at least I do have the hope of trying again.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? I'm still waiting on the labs. My urine test at the ER came up negative, so I don't anticipate a high hcg level. There isn't much at this point I can do other than try again.

Questions? For those of you who have had a chemical before, how long did the bleeding last? I had some pretty intense cramps the night of the MC, and thankfully those went away, but my bleeding has stayed pretty heavy for the last couple days and it has not been letting up.

GTKY: What is something you're looking forward to this year? MH and I got married at a courthouse due to some circumstances that required us to tie the knot sooner rather than later. We're finally going to have our actual wedding in Hawaii this year (if all goes well), so I am definitely looking forward to that.
  • @katrielle I'm sorry to welcome you here. With my CP, I bled for about a week (which is a couple days longer than my typical period and it was definitely heavier than usual). Take all the time you need to emotionally and physically heal. I hope you get to have your wedding and that it is a great distraction!
