Re: TTGP Grad Check-In January 2022
TTGP is a family and the community doesn’t end when you graduate from the board or have your take home baby. It doesn’t feel right to post this thread without acknowledging that one of our own grads, @mvt2003, lost her amazing husband early this morning. She was such an integral part of this community during her time here and continues to be a wonderful friend to me and so many others that I wanted to make sure that all past and present TTGPers know that she and her beautiful twin girls need our love and prayers directed their way. We love you MVT and your TB friends are always here for you❤️❤️
Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.
Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 5; 11 days of stims. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal.
Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP.
May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger after 8 days of stims; AFC 10; 13 retrieved; 10 mature; 8 fertilized. All frozen at 2PN for later thaw, grow, and biopsy.
July '22 egg retrieval same protocol: 9 days of stims; AFC 8; 10 retrieved, 8 mature, 4 fertilized and frozen.
Sept '22 ER same protocol: AFC 10; 12 retrieved, 11 mature, 11 fertilized.
From the 3 retrievals, 7 survived to day 5-6 blastocyst, from which I have 2 normal embryos!
Jan 20, Fully medicated FET, baby aspirin, dexamethasone, acupuncture, and as much woo as I can stand (which isn't very much). BFN.
July 23, Natural FET + baby aspirin. BFN.

It feels weird to post here normally after this news, but I will start the ball rolling.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? Roughly Fall 2020-Nov 2021
*How far along are you? 11w2d
*Which birth month board/due date? July 24, 2022
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Green.
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have some ideas. (Jews have a lot of superstitions around naming and babies, but one is that babies don't actually get named until 8 days after birth. I mean, we don't actually adhere to this, but sharing this early feels jinx-y)
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I miss you guys! Particularly the IF crowd. It's weird over there on the BMB, and I don't think I am making too many friends? I feel like my strong opinions are less, uh, appreciated over there, so I haven't been posting much. On the plus side, I had my 11 week appointment and got to see baby with a heartbeat dancing around in there, so that was reassuring. I'm slowly accepting that this is probably actually going to happen. Just told people at work because it's getting pretty obvious (4th pregnancy! hoo boy).

*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? just over 3 years
*How far along are you? we are 12+5 today!!
*Which birth month board/due date? July 14 but LO is measuring a little ahead now
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? NIPT confirms Team BLUE!!! I bawled my freaking eyes out knowing natural conception was our only chance at a boy and now here we are
Having the first grandson for both sides is nice too.
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Well we have the always weird and unique but kind of fitting oddball name, but we might have a few other contenders as we look more into it. DH's family has taken it upon themselves to periodically spam the family group chat with name after name. None of which I have liked.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I feel so weird not being over here and miss you guys just like @bumblebee0210. Our BMB is kind of lame because there's like, 3 of us creating the threads and participation is along the lines of posting their weekly check in but not commenting on anyone that posted before them so there's not a lot of activity at times. Eh, whatever. Could be from the holidays so everyone is busy. Could be covid times too I suppose. Is this BMB dirt I'm not supposed to be sharing? lol. AFM... all my ultrasound scans went well last month. DH finally went with me since we took time off on the days we had the last 2 scans so I think he's really into it now (especially knowing it's a boy and gets to carry on the name *slight eye roll*). I started measuring a day ahead and then last week I'm all of a sudden 4 days ahead. I also graduated from the RI's care so I get to start weaning off some meds and no more weekly ultrasounds. I can't believe this is the real deal. It was so hard going through TTC for so long and this is just the most rewarding feeling I've ever had. I'm so glad I kept looking forward and kept looking for answers. I wish for nothing but for all of you to feel that sense of triumph and getting the ultimate reward. I want all of you to succeed
I got DH to agree to tell our immediate families at Christmas and good lord you would have thought we won the Super Bowl with the screaming that occurred when I announced to my family. Tears all around. It was exactly how I thought it would go. DH's family went pretty much how I expected as well with their slight gasp and then my MIL's big smile on her face when we told her we were going to need her to quilt us a baby blanket. No crying... no "omg I'm so excited/I can't wait to be an aunt". I plan on telling work this week since a bump is definitely starting to develop and then we'll announce on social media once I'm officially in 2nd tri next week.

Hi! 👋🏼👋🏼

*How far along are you? 8+5
*Which birth month board/due date? August22/ 8/11
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Haven’t found out yet but hoping to in a month.
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We’ve only had a couple convos where mh basically just vetoes my choices and doesn’t give any valuable input. We told mil and she’s been giving me the WORST suggestions…
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? As everyone else has already said, I miss you guys!!! I’m the board police over in Aug and it’s getting exhausting. Otherwise everything is going very well! I’ve had my dating scan which was good minus the small SCH and cyst on my right ovary. Yesterday I had an appt and I convinced my dr to use the Doppler and she found the hb which was a huge relief and kind of incredible given I’m still so early!
I still lurk here often and I hope @fantasyflyte is feeling better!! I am cheering for all of you so hard!! Sending all my love and positive vibes to each and every one of you!
@bumblebee0210 you give them hell over there! Lol. At least you've got quite a few TTGP grads for company. FFIW, I'm also on team Bumble.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Finally started creating a list, but to be honest one name in particular came to mind and I can’t picture it being anything else. Unless it’s a boy then we have no choice lol.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I’m a little glad to know I’m not the only one who feels like their BMB just isn’t the same. Don’t get me wrong, there are a handful of us in June who are dedicated and I’m glad to have them! But TTGP is truly something special.
Other than that, we got to hear the heartbeat finally last week so that was good. I’ve been having some severe bouts of fatigue, but hopefully that’ll pass soon. I found a breast lump and had an US on it today. It looks benign but they want to biopsy it anyway so that’s what’s on my mind currently.
Still lurking and crossing my fingers for everyone here!
@mvt2003 I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I just have no words.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? January - April 2021

*Which birth month board/due date? January 2022 but born 12/25/21
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Pink
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We ended up naming her Molly, which was the front-runner name all along. Our 5 year old picked that name out during 2020, which was our year of losses. He started naming his toys Molly, not sure why, but he had been hoping for a baby sister for a long time so when he found out that we weren't having a baby back in 2020, he started the Molly thing. Maybe a coincidence. Anyway, we liked the name so it worked out.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? The birth was amazing. I went in to the hospital at 7pm or so on Christmas Eve, and got my epidural around 11:45 - AND IT FINALLY WORKED. I was feeling really good for a couple hours, pushed for 8 minutes, and there she was. So much easier than my previous two kids. We've been enjoying lots of cuddle time. I know I eventually have to get her used to her crib but since she's most likely our last, I'm enjoying the newborn stage as much as I can. Nursing has been hard - she hates my right nip - but we'll figure it out hopefully soon.
I'm wishing you all the best, like always.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? Feb'21-Aug'21
Apparently I'm in the minority as I don't have any complaints about my bmb as of now 😂😂 (other than that participation in general is down from years past)

Can’t believe I’m so close to the 3rd trimester! Everything is feeling much more real and I’m getting really excited to meet this little babe soon!
Not going to repeat what everyone else has already said about BMBs, but it think it just goes to show how much of a community TTGP is. It’s hard to find that same sense of community and true investment in each other anywhere else. I’m so happy to have found this board when I did and am rooting for each and every one of you every day ♥️♥️

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? we haven’t revisited this convo, but we were green with our daughter born Dec 2019 and previously discussed doing the same
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. also, haven’t visited this topic, we didn’t use our boy name in 2019 which I still love, Harrison. We had a much harder time with boy names, for a girl we have a few options so we will have to hash that out at some point. We have a Charlotte who is nicknamed Charlie, and our #2 was Georgina and nicknamed Georgie. I like very traditional names that have clear nicknames - our last name is spelled weirdly, so I want to make life easy on the first name.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? it all feels a bit surreal, I had labs done initially that were good, but won’t have my first appointment and ultrasound until 1.20. Covid hit our house a few days before Christmas, my daughter and I were both positive - thankfully mild for both of us - my OB had me do monoclonal antibodies even tho I was boosted, so who knows if that or vaccines kept it mild for me, but I’m thankful. This was my 2nd run with covid, was vaxed back in July, too. It was mentally defeating tbh. Somehow MH has stayed negative both times, clearly he has a better immune system.
I’ve been lurking the TTGP board and hoping for each of your swift departures to BMBs ❤️
I’ve been meaning to update here for a while now.. better late than never!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Her name is Emma
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Our little girl arrived after a very long labour on Dec 4. I cried a LOT of happy tears. We are so in love and enjoying every minute with her. She loves to snuggle and is giving us lots of smiles lately. I can’t believe how fast time is going!
I think of you ladies often and will keep lurking when I have a free minute until I no longer recognize any names. Especially sending out lots of love to the ladies on the IF thread.
I saw this quote recently that really spoke to me: “Going through things you never thought you’d go through will only take you to places you never thought you’d get to.” I remember going through some of my darkest days and my counsellor telling me that if I really wanted to be a mother, I would be… even if it’s not in the way I planned. We may have gone a different path than we imagined, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
