We had plans with hubby’s best friends today and they got cancelled due to this variant spreading like wildfire here. I’m honestly relieved that we will stay home instead as I’m paranoid as is while hubby was saying we’d be fine. Now I don’t have to worry. Phew.

@Tulips29 I wish we were staying home tonight. I’m freaking out a little bit about being around my sister in law’s family tonight.

Equally nervous about being around extended family, especially since it’s in a major hot spot. But it’s also probably the last time I’ll see my grandma sooooo….

Stay safe ladies! We’re laying low and got a few rapid tests at the pharmacy to test before seeing anyone tomorrow.

I was relieved when a family member got busy and decided not to hang out with us Christmas Eve. I wanted to see them but am worried about the variant.

@KFrob Do you wear masks around them? When I went to visit my husband's family, I was worried, so we wore masks. They didn't, but we did. I wear masks around my family too except when we eat but we keep a distance when eating.

I’m secretly sad our elf has to go away for the year. It was annoying to remember to move him but I’m going to miss the boys waking up so excited to find him.
