Constant nausea anyone?

Hi all- I am almost at 13 weeks but my nausea hasn’t subsided. I’ve been nauseas 24/7 for 6 weeks. There is no relief. I throw up everyday still. I just want to know if anyone else is  in the same boat? I feel like everyone I talk to is like “oh, I wasn’t sick during my pregnancy!” And I’m like, wtf?! Hoping I start to feel better soon but I’m just feeling kinda alone and depressed here.

Re: Constant nausea anyone?

  • @trashtruck I was the same way and it actually got worse weeks 12 and 13 and I felt really defeated. But I’m almost 15 weeks and have just started to feel like I’m coming around a corner these last few days. Did you ever try the acupressure wrist bands? I swear they gave me some relief. Hope you start to feel better soon!

@trashtruck Oh I totally feel you!! I am 14 weeks and thought I would feel better by now and it hasn’t improved at all. I throw up every day too. I’ve tried Unisom and B6 (stopped working), Reglan (made me feel jittery), Phenergan (stopped working) and finally Zofran (it helps minimally). I feel like I’m at my wits end. If you’re willing to talk to your OB or midwife about meds, maybe they can provide relief at least for a little while!
  • 17 weeks and still fighting it off... I was vomiting 4+ times and day and my doctor recommended Unisom Sleep Tabs. I take one every night but sometimes the nausea and vomiting can still break through. Not as bad as it was though, a much needed relief. Talk to your Dr if its really persistent,  if the Unisom stops working then my next steps are Rx meds.
  • @trashtruck Hi, Welcome. Please check out the "Read this First" thread and if you decide to stay introduce yourself in the Introduction thread. Your question would be great in "Weekly Check-In" thread.
