Re: November/December IVF/FET

  • @bumblebee0210 -  I dont have implantation issues as I've had an ectopic and a miscarriage. The last transfer was the only one that didnt implant fully that was PGS tested.

I've done testing on APS, endo, etc and all are negative. I do have mild adenomyosis and was treated with Lupron for the last 3 months. I am on Lovenox and baby aspirin as well. Fingers cross these embabies are the ones that make me a momma!

  • @ashleyhj29 how are you feeling?! Congrats on being PUPO :) Wishing you a fast week - when is your beta scheduled for?
  • @soccergirl23 I feel pretty normal! Maybe some minor cramps/twinges but no sore boobs or nausea. I’m only 4 days in so I shouldn’t expect much I guess. I’m having some hot flashes 😂

beta is Friday at 9 days but I won’t get results til Monday bc I’m out of town and having them done at a LabCorp…I may take a FRER on Friday just to prepare myself for any news!

are no symptoms a bad thing?

  • @ashleyhj29 I had my transfer of two embryos on Thursday! I have just been feeling bloated for the most part. Today my sense of smell seems to be heightened. I never know if I’m actually experiencing these symptoms or if my radar is up for them because I know they could happen lol. I have my beta on Tuesday. Good luck with yours!
  • @ashleyhj29 yeah, I think 4 days in wouldn't have many symptoms. It's nice you have your beta Friday but stinks you have to wait until Monday for the results! Would a FRER be accurate on Friday (I'm so bad at knowing any of this).

@dmb451 congrats on being PUPO! Haha I think our minds play tricks on us and the meds don't help.. is your beta 12/21 then?

I had my transfer yesterday and have just been feeling off and crampy since I had it. I don't know if that's normal or something to be nervous about? Trying not to overthink it.

@soccergirl23 I had my progesterone blood draw today and I am at 15. So I think my body is handling the injections well. The HCG test will be on Tuesday 🤞🤞🙏🙏 Prayers both my little ones implanted! Had what I think is implantation bleeding today.
  • @dmb451 I transferred 2 as well on 12/8. Beta is tomorrow. I had some brown spotting the last 2 days, with some full/cramp feeling on Tuesday evening. I may take a HPT tomorrow morning... have you tested at home?
What other symptoms are you having? I feel pretty normal otherwise.

  • I took my first HPT today as I was going in for my beta...it's lighter than I'd like, but definitely there and not a squinter. I am 9dp5dt. I think the spotting I had day 6-8 was implantation so I'm hoping that's why the line is lighter....anyone have a similar experience?

@ashleyhj29 I have been having some light pink/slightly brown bleeding for the last 5 days. It makes me nervous that it has been going on for so long, but it has been super light so 🤞🤞. I’m wondering if it’s lasting longer because both are implanting at slightly different times. I don’t know. I have also had headaches, been bloated, and unbelievably tired 🥱. I don’t have my HCG until Tuesday. Haven’t taken any tests. I have been super tempted, but I don’t want to get my hopes up. Good luck tomorrow!! Definitely keep us posted on how it goes. 🙏🤞
  • @ashleyhj29 hoping to hear good news from you today, thinking about you!

@dmb451 how are you doing? Have you taken a home test or waiting for your beta tomorrow? Good luck!!
  • Well, my first beta on Friday came back at 6....ugh....went for another today and will get results tomorrow. Not looking good. We put in 2 embryos. I dont know how this keeps happening? I've done all the tests, we have PGS normal embryos and yet they keep failing for whatever reason.
What other protocols can I try? We've done antihistamine, Lupron, Lovenox....do I need to try an immune protocol? We're running out of time and embryos.

  • @ashleyhj29 sorry to hear that things aren’t going well. We went through years of infertility before we got our first miracle baby. Now I have two amazing little girls. I think the best thing to do is listen to your doctors and talk to God. I don’t know if you are religious, but I found that once I let go and stopped stressing about things being planned a certain way that things fell into place. Even if you aren’t religious, trying to eliminate as much stress as possible is going to be huge help! Good luck tomorrow! I have my first beta tomorrow. 🤞🙏🤞🙏
  • @soccergirl23 I’m doing well. I haven’t taken a pregnancy test at home. I always worry about false positives, so as much as I want to know I am just holding out until I get a phone call tomorrow 🤞🤞 I’m feeling good overall though. Have lots of symptoms, but I also fear that they are psychosomatic lol. Hoping for a great day tomorrow! 🙏🙏

Sometimes you might need to up the ante with something harder hitting than antihistamine -- steroids are a common next step so you might want to check with your doctor about them. There is also a reproductive immunologist in Chicago who will do consults if you are interested -- Dr. Kwak Kim -- and might have some ideas.

    TW
I was taking benadryl at the time I had my first pregnancy (spontaneous, m/c at 8 weeks) and my doctor had me take a medrol dospak/steroids for my transfers. Both of my transfers were successful. I have no known immune issues but my doctor just feels that taking some steroids can't really hurt and they may help.

  • @ashleyhj29 I hope that you get better news today, I’m so sorry to hear that you are going through this. Thinking of you.

@dmb451 good luck today, sending you all of the positive vibes  <3.
  • @soccergirl23 my HCG came back at over 2000! 🥳 I go back in on Thursday to check on the numbers again. Hopefully they stay high and both the babies are growing nicely ☺️
  • @dmb451 congratulations, that’s amazing!! So happy to hear that :)
  • I have a bit of cramping (slightly different feeling than AF) at 9dp5dt, is that a sign that it failed? I remember with my last failed transfer I also had cramping around this time. Feeling a little pessimistic about this one too :(
  • @soccergirl23 I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad sign. It could be implantation. It could be your body adjusting. Don’t stress. The stress can have adverse affects.

I came on here because I had a similar kind of question for you ladies. I started some light pink bleeding (very slight) 4dp5dt. That continued for 8 days. Not at lot at all. Today is 13dp5dt and I have a lot more very light pink bleeding when I wiped. From what I understand implantation bleeding is only meant to last for a couple days at most. With my 2050 HCG in my beta there could be twins which could be more implantation bleeding, but isn’t this too much? I have my bloodwork again tomorrow, but I’m antsy about it. Any thoughts?
  • Got my period last night, drove to the center this morning and said they didn’t do blood work when someone gets their period. I guess even though I had an ERA and PGT-A and M testing, something still isn’t working. So disappointed and upset. This process is so emotionally draining.
  • @dmb451
I spotted red, pink and brown from about 4dp6dt (I only got day 6 embryos) until 12 weeks with DD1's pregnancy (started as twins but then we lost one @ 8 weeks). They could never find a reason for it and it had nothing to do with the loss of the twin as it started weeks before and continued weeks after; the doctor and nurses were not worried about it at all as I was taking baby aspirin plus all of the hormones and they felt it could be a friable cervix since there was no bleeding shown on ultrasound. Obviously, my baby was just fine and delivered healthy with no issues at 35 weeks due to pre-eclampsia in me. So as long as it's not filling pads or full of clots, I would just take it in stride once you get good ultrasounds.
