GTKY: I apologize if I already asked this question...my brain is mush today....: What is the first thing you want to eat post delivery (doesn't have to be realistic...just what are you craving the most as your first postpartum meal)?
Re: Weekly Check-In 11/1
Don’t remember this question, but I can’t say I won’t change my mind lol Right now, a nice cheese and veggie sub with some roasted bell peppers sounds pretty good, but I’ve also been craving a good blueberry muffin for the past 2 months and haven’t been able to find any lol I should probably just stop being lazy and make some.
Prosciutto, Calebreses salami, brie and crackers. I asked for this after DD2 as well but didn't get it:/ Maybe I'll get it this time...
@rachelredhead - cute announcement!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 20 + 5, Due 3-16-22
a giant margarita or big glass of wine and sushi. I’ve been on a fish kick lately and find it’s a strange craving but 🤷🏻♀️
Sciatica is painful. And I've been having tension headaches. I wish Advil was safe. Baby is super mobile. But it's not hourly or regular yet. So I keep panicking a bit.
Haha oh man. If only it could be delivered to the hospital... I want eggs Benedict. If I wouldn't get to see DS for 24+ hours anyway, I want some delicious Eggs Benny. Though...maybe DS will pass his egg challenge in January, and it will be irrelevant haha.
But as far as pregnancy restricted foods....I have no issues going without, usually. Sandwich meat is sometimes a craving, but lately...meh.
Hospital food generally sucks, and they forgot to feed me last time. So I'm not expecting much.
Also, I wonder how DH eats...once I get admitted, he's not allowed to leave the unit until we are discharged (well, if he leaves, he's not allowed to come back). But there is no place to get food on the unit....
hmmmm...probably sushi.
At the hospital I had DS, the hubby wasn’t allowed to leave since it was early pandemic so they gave him a meal card to take down to the cafeteria.
He seemed to do pretty well with that, I’d say he got more food than I did for sure lol
A medium rare steak, along with an ice cold beer or a glass of wine.
@goldfishcraker Ohhh eggs benedict... yum. And I'm so glad you son had a good Halloween. Their joy in all these new experiences makes life so fun.
@nursejenn5 I could have written your "what will you eat" answer lol. I am also have major seafood cravings too! Especially for ceviche which is weird since that isn't something I ate more than a handful of time before. Pregnancy is weird haha.
@jennifer_m21 I'll start a Deals thread! Hopefully there are some good ones coming up that ease the cost of having twins.
@achanceintime I've had an anterior placenta both pregnancies and it sucks. Just give me those big kicks so I can get some peace of mind!
@rachelredhead Aw I love your announcement! So cute.
@Panaceia @faithmovesmountains So glad you are both feeling more movement!

@morgantu no personal experience but I have a few friends who had previa and for all if them it resolved by around 30 or 32 ish weeks. I know the only difference was that they were monitored a little more closely and if it didn't resolve then they would have to have a c-section (or repeat c-section) around 37 weeks. I don't know much about accretia other than that it is more serious...but still manageable. FX it's previa and that it resolves on its own!!!
No clue. It'll depend on the time of day. With DD it was 6 am and I wanted donuts but got a giant, amazing cinnamon roll. With DS it was 1 pm or so, I think DH brought me Hooters wings. But I can't remember what I'm not supposed to be eating any way, so I'm eating most of the things already.
