Broken teeth!! Please help

As I fractured a portion of my teeth while eating yesterday, my gums swelled up and began to bleed. I'm annoyed to the point of becoming irritable. I fractured the same tooth eight years ago. Is there anybody else who had dental work while pregnant? Is it safe for the baby?

Its more dangerous NOT getting dental work done, with risk of infection, than getting it.  Let your dentist know and they will take care of you.

I had a filling fall out and possibly a tooth break (didn’t really want to know) when I was 32 weeks in my last pregnancy. I had it fixed the same week, my dentist just wanted permission from my obgyn that it was safe for me. Which might have totally just been a precaution. I now have a happy, healthy, and wild 3 year old.

Thank you for replying. My dentist was unavailable so, I made an appointment with an emergency dentist nearby. He assured me that it is safe to do the dental procedure and now I am relieved from those irritations. I was also given a few antibiotics to reduce the swelling.
