How are you feeling?:  sick sick sick and stressed as always. Hearing the heartbeat last week helped a lot though and now that we've decided on a name I'm starting to feel a little bit more of a connection.

Rants/Raves: Since I did all my baby stuff splurging with DD2 I decided on one splurge item for this pregnancy. I found a rocking chair that I LOVE!!!! I of course ordered the wrong one this morning so I am waiting for them to cancel my order so I can re-order the one I want.

Questions: Nope:)

For me it's my height, hands and feet, and shape of my eyes.

How are you feeling?: pretty good! I was really hungry this weekend which is the first time that’s happened this pregnancy. 

Rants/Raves: we did a family photo session yesterday and we got a lot of really great pictures. We’re spending too much money but I’m telling myself since DS is 15 months old and has never had professional photos (thanks, Covid) I’m just rolling all the photo sessions I thought I’d have by this point into one. It’s nice to document this small window of time when DS is our only baby. ❤️

GTKY: Which of your physical traits do you love the most? I’m a ginger and DS has inherited a bit of that gene with his strawberry blonde hair. I’m happy to keep the redhead gene pool going!

How are you feeling?: Pregnancy insomnia is  frustrating, but overall not feeling too bad. Anxiety, though.

Rants/Raves: We got a new/used dresser for DS that was my grandfather’s. It’s real cherry and has held up well for it’s age. This allowed us to move our dresser with the changing table top to baby girl’s room. Felt good to get the first piece of furniture in there.

Questions: Not right now.

 I don’t really like my physical traits lol I’ve had low self esteem forever. I guess I’ve been told I have nice hands?

@Panaceia ohhh i think one good splurge is smart. I think i'm going to go for a nice double stroller. 
@rachelredhead I have been telling MH for like a year that we need to get professional photos. We are doing it for our holiday cards this year, dangit!

Upcoming Appointments: oct 4 with the OB for idk what, but at least i'll hear the heartbeat and feel better. 

How are you feeling?: physically, pretty good- i definitely turned a corner the last week or so and my energy is coming back. Mentally...well, it depends on the day. I'll be glad to have some reassurance with the heartbeat next week. 

Rants/Raves: not much, other than the weather here this week is not supposed to get above 65 and i am loving ittttttttt. Also we went grape picking over the weekend and have a ton of concord grapes at home which are delicious!

GTKY: Which of your physical traits do you love the most? I'm tall, which i love. i also have nice hair and it grows quickly, even though it's going gray fast!

@morgantu Yes to the double stroller! My double chariot was the best purchase I ever made. And I'm right there with you on the grey hair front. I'm actually looking forward to getting some nice white streaks in the next few years. I'm sure adding this 3rd kid will speed that process along 😂

@faithmovesmountains I'm sorry you're struggling with the anxiety too. I'm glad we all have eachother to lean on in here!

@rachelredhead We have still never gotten professional photos done with the girls. Maybe after little boy makes his appearance we'll get our act together! And I'm so jealous of the red hair! I always wanted red hair. A few of my cousins are red heads but it never translated to me or my kids:/ I'm still holding out hope for this one even though I know it will never happen 😊

@rachelredhead Oh that's fun that you did family photos! We have some booked for Friday and I'm a little nervous. We haven't done photos since our engagements and I felt so awkward the entire time.

How are you feeling?:  Not great. I'm trying not to be upset about it but ugh. I have been knocked out with nausea and vomitting for the last three days. Hopefully it is just a fluke and goes away soon. 

Rants/Raves: I have a job interview on Wednesday. I am like 90% sure I'm not going to take it if they offer, but I thought I should at least go and see what they say. I didn't apply for it, they reached out to me. So we will see. I can't imagine starting a new job right now though.

GTKY: Which of your physical traits do you love the most? I have super long and thick natural eyelashes. People often ask me if they are fake. It actually makes me kind of sad fake eyelashes are so popular now because it doesn't feel that special anymore haha.

@kgg2241 I found this photo session to be way less awkward than engagement pictures just because my main concern was getting cute photos of the toddler. Even looking at the first shots, I just did not care so much about any unflattering photos of me. It was kind of liberating, honestly, and fun! I hope you enjoy it!

@jennifer_m21 SO is big on the meaning of names so that always plays a part in our naming decisions. Sasha comes from Alexander so warrior or defender of man which we liked:) How did it go telling your friends? Were they shocked?

@Panaceia They were all shocked! Only our immediate families knew at the time. We announced right before we cut the cake (it was at my bday party), and played it off as if we were going to reveal the sex. I had some dramatic pauses, and when I announced TWINS, the crowd went wild!

How are you feeling?: ANXIOUS. My doctor has referred me to a neurologist bevause I have been having some bizarre dizzy spells, and had my blood drawn yesterday for an early glucose test to check my sugar levels because that could also be what's causing my dizzy spells. I have a SCH and have had some cramping and spotting so they are keeping a very close eye on that too. My pregnancy with DS was smooth sailing so this is really throwing me for a loop!

Rants/Raves: None ATM. Happy to be back at work after 2 weeks off with DS for COVID symptoms.

GTKY: Which of tour physical traits do you like the most? Definitely my hair.

How are you feeling?: Nausea and exhaustion is still pretty hard-hitting at the moment… Holding out hope some improvement is to come in the next month or so. 

Rants/Raves: Rave: I love my midwife! She spent so much time reviewing all of my symptoms, questions, and concerns this week. It was a wonderful appointment and I felt so supported!

How are you feeling?: Appetite is back.

Rants/Raves: I fell this week when I got off the train. I hit my head first on the waiting area plexi glass then fell down on my bottom and hurt my elbow. I was okay but then it hit me that I could’ve hurt the baby and I cried for an hour straight. I called my OB and she wasn’t concerned about the baby but told me to go to the ER to get my head checked out. I didn’t and I’ve been fine.
