Post Partum - Trying to Knock Off Last 5-10 Pounds

Hello all! This is my first post on The Bump.

My wonderful son was born in March; he's about five months old now.

Since I've had the baby, I'm now about 5-10 pounds up from my pre-baby weight. I'm someone who loves to exercise and eat somewhat healthy (I do enjoys my sweets from time to time) I'd really love a little extra advice to get back to my original weight. Any suggestions or similar experiences? That would be a great help!

  • It's completely normal to experience some fluctuations in weight after having a baby, and your commitment to exercise and healthy eating is a great foundation for getting back on track.

For personalized success, consider focusing on small, achievable goals like incorporating more physical activity into your routine—maybe short workouts that fit into your day or family walks with the baby. Additionally, meal prepping can help you maintain healthier eating habits while still enjoying those sweets in moderation.

Connecting with others who have faced similar experiences can also provide valuable insights and encouragement. Don't hesitate to share your journey here; you might find some fantastic tips! Remember, this is a gradual process, and being kind to yourself during this transition is key. You've got this!  <3
