Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding Out ASAP
Upcoming Appointments: NIPT on the 30th, NT scan on the 8th, GP on the 10th, OB on the 13th
How are you feeling?: Like dirt. Everything was coming out of both ends all weekend. I had to scrub the entire bathroom top to bottom. My parents have been up at the boat since before I got pregnant and I had to call them in the middle of the night to ask them to come home to help with the girls since I am basically non functional. They got here yesterday and the girls are so happy to have someone to play with while I lie on the couch. Emotionally I'll super stressed about the NIPT and the 12 week scan. I'm so worried something is going to go wrong and with how sick I've been I honestly don't know if I can start all over again. I need this little one to hang in there and be healthy!
Rants/Raves: DD2 wanted to watch videos of babies crying the other day (she is obsessed with babies). DD1 (who is almost 8) decided crying babies are the cutest thing she has ever seen and so now wants another baby and has been asking me and SO for another one non stop the past few days. We won't tell the girls unless I make it past the anatomy scan so they don't know about baby yet. But DD1 actually wanting us to have another baby is a big deal since she so adamantly wanted to stay an only child before we had DD2.
Questions: Nope:)
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? I was totally thinking about this @gembud 😀 Honestly this time I have no preferences, just excited to see what they'll look and be like. DD1 and DD2 are complete opposites in every way. DD1 has olive skin, almost black eyes, and her hair is a dark gold/light brown (it was very blond when she was younger but is getting darker all the time) with ringlets. Other than her colouring she is SO's clone both physically and in her personality. DD2 is very fair, has almost white hair that is very straight and blue eyes. She looks very much like me when I was little and has my temperament too. Both girls have SO's very full lips though which I love. It will be interesting to see if this one is a mix of both girls or just completely different. SO and I both had very white hair until our mid 20s so I just assumed all our kids would be very fair. Nope! I can't even guess at what this LO will be like!
@Panaceia Sorry to hear you're feeling so crappy. Glad your parents are able to help. I am sure you will be thrilled when you can finally tell the girls. I feel the same way, my kids have been asking for a new baby and I want to tell them so badly but I am waiting for the next scan on September 1 before I do so.
EDD / Weeks + Days: either 10+0 or 10+2 depending on whether I go by Ultrasound tech's estimate or LMP Estimate. Waiting on OB apt to get her take

Upcoming Appointments: Scan on September 1
How are you feeling?: Tired and lazy, but happy.
Rants/Raves: Instagram must know I am pregnant, because its ad- spamming me with baby things and baby related content. Its making me excited to have a newborn to snuggle!!
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? My DS and DD are opposites as well. DS is independent, outgoing and feisty; while DD is gentle, moody, and introverted. DS is blond, fair, blue eyes and DD is brown hair, brown eyes, and olive skin. DS reminds me of myself and my husband in a lot of ways and DD reminds me mostly of my sister. Both of my kids are really kind and loving, so I hope this third one gets those two traits as well and I can't wait to see all of the other little unique personality traits they will have!
@realhousewife519 SO funny how siblings can be sooooooo different! I love it! And +1 to the targeted baby ads....if I hadn't already bought everything I wanted with DD2 I'm sure I'd be getting ready to spend WAY too much money!
@Panaceia og my gosh that sounds awful! I'm so sorry you're so sick! I hope it wasn't gastro! I'm glad your parents were able to come help! And yay for DD1 wanting another sibling!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 9+3 by LMP, but I'm guessing based on my scan today, they will probably bump me up by 4 days. Which is bonkers to me since that means I found out at 2+5🤔
Baby is the size of a(n) / interesting fact: cherry

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: probably green?
Upcoming Appointments: OB Sept 3. I'll get my scan results. Feels like a Long time to wait haha. I might call the office to see if they can at least tell me the new EDD and if I do in fact have a SCH
How are you feeling?: ok. Anxious. Not sleeping well. The injections are already taking a toll on my body. I'm already running out of places to inject -so many bruises. I have to call work right now to tell them I'm off for another month. Not looking forward to that at all... Nausea on and off.
Rants/Raves: we had family photos yesterday, and DS asked to hold his baby cousin. He was cuddling and kissing her, and I melted! He is going to he SUCH an amazing big brother!
Questions: TMI question: anyone else's lady bits all crazy swollen already?
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? DS has amazing blue eyes. I hope this baby gets them too! DH and I both have boring hazel eyes. I hope this baby is as loving, and kind, and smart as DS. But I pray baby is NOT sick, doesn't have allergies like big brother, and actually sleeps some!
@Panaceia ahhh I can’t believe she’s asking for a sibling! They are going to be the best big sisters!
@realhousewife519 add me to the list of being spammed by baby ads, so excited for the snuggles and that newborn smell!
@goldfishcraker ugh that is so hard, so sorry you have to go through that right now

How are you feeling?: So much better, able to drink coffee again but has to be iced
Rants/Raves: I have been freaking out lately that my blood result was wrong and it’s a girl which is what I originally wanted but now I got so attached to the baby being a boy I’m going to have a gender disappointment for a second time this pregnancy if it was wrong - why did I let people get in my head and do this to me 😑
Questions: I’m with a new OB this pregnancy and they are measuring my cervix throughout my pregnancy because I got the LEEP procedure when I was younger (my midwife never did this last pregnancy 🤷🏻♀️). First check is next appt, I read it’s an US not sure if abdominal or vaginal. Anyone have experience with this? If so did they also show you baby?
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? I hope he gets H’s eyebrows and eyelashes because OMG, plus I am not blessed in either department (poor DS has my eyebrows, but thankfully his dads lashes) DS was born with heterochromia so he has two different colored eyes (left is brown right is blueish-green with a brown stripe down the middle), hoping to keep that streak going
@gembud Your DS's eyes are AMAZING!!! I hope DS2 keeps the streak alive too!!! Also, I'm sure the lab was right. I know people who got the wrong results from ultrasounds but FX the blood test was accurate ❤
@Panaceia@realhousewife519 I love to hear about the differences in your kiddos! It's so fascinating to me. @goldfishcraker awww @ your DS being a sweetie. I have the same hopes about DD, but wonder if it will be different when it's a 24/7 baby! @gembud heterochromias can look so amazing! Do you know anything about the genetics of it? or just random?
EDD / Weeks + Days: 10+1 3/20

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: green
Upcoming Appointments: genetics on monday (cause apparent;y being 35 when i deliver pushed me over into "old") then nothing till sept 10
How are you feeling?: horrible today. yesterday and today have hit me like a mac truck. Before i had unpleasant low-level nausea. The past 2 days it's been high-level nausea. i'm on the verge of puking all the time and i think if i didn't work in an office i probably would have several times. Not great.
Rants/Raves: big rant for this uptick in nausea. go awaayyyyyyy. Also i'm back at work this week and i think that's directly correlated to my sickness. So i need to get a less annoying job lol.
Questions: nah
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? Hmmmm well i only have DD to compare to.. and i think she's the best so i want this new baby to be just like her. Though i know they will have their own personality that is equally as perfect. My DH is kind of sickly- lots of allergies and immune issues. I hope neither kid gets those because they are a PITA. I do hope they get his adventurous spirit and patience. I hope they get my empathy and love for things that are a tiny bit more "woo".
@morgantu sorry you're not feeling well either:/ I'm laughing that we basically have exactly the same appointment dates though! Maybe we'll both get our NIPT results at the same time since we're both getting our testing done the same day!
Upcoming Appointments: Sept 1, 12w scan and OB Appt
How are you feeling?: like so many PP, like trash.
Rants/Raves: This is a rant at myself and a rave but I found out the gender by accident. I saw that my NIPT results came in (healthy!!) and I thought that the negative/positive would show up separately from the sex. So I opened the scan and now I know. Our reveal party is on Sunday. I asked DH if he wants to know or find out with the rest of the family and he wants to wait so I have to use gender neutral pronouns for the next six days! 😂 I feel guilty sharing with anyone, including the interwebs, until he knows so for now I’m Team Secret.
Questions: nope!
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? DS has strawberry blonde hair like me, which was a surprise. I figured since I’m the only redhead in my family that the gene would skip the next generation. It would be fun to have another ginger! Mainly, I just want my kids to be as warm, kind, and generous as their dad. I just think he’s the bee’s knees. And if they get some height from him (I’m 5’1, he’s 6’0), awesome.
Baby is the size of a(n) / interesting fact: lime, although that seems like it would be much too big
FTM/STM/TTM+: stm
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: I want to find out! DH hasn't given an opinion either way, so I take that to mean we are finding out!
Upcoming Appointments: Thursday for the nurse intake appt, which seems silly at 11 weeks, when I have already seen the doc and had the first US. Another US on Sept 9.
How are you feeling?: most days are better, but super exhausted. DD got to take a ride on the school bus and met her Kindergarten teacher today. Her first day of K is Thursday, so I'm a bit extra emotional.
Rants/Raves: I want a really good chicken Caesar wrap, but restaurants keep putting weird stuff in it. I may need to make it myself.
Questions:
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? I hope this gummybear is patient like DH. He can be far more level-headed than me.
@morgantu I’ve had the uptick in feeling awful, too. Hit around 9 weeks and has been misery since then. No advice, just solidarity.
@luckyduck42 I think lime is too big, too. Next week says plum and I feel like a plum is smaller than a lime. Maybe it’s a key lime? Overthinking this!
@gembud different colored eyes is so cool!! Does that run in your family or husband’s?
I also find it fascinating that siblings can be so different! I have friends with two kids, and notice that if one is a wild child, the other is the more calm one.
@Panaceia My DS is also asking for a sibling, and cannot wait to tell him when I'm further along! Do you know how you'll tell them?
@gembud I am so jealous that DS has long, beautiful lashes. My brows and lashes are nothing to compare to his! He got them from his Dad.
@goldfishcraker YES! My lady bits also feel swollen! It's due to increased blood volume.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 3-16-22, 10w6d
Baby is the size of a(n) / interesting fact: I've seen apps that say a lego man, brussel sprout, and fig! Which is definitely not the size of a lime!

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: TFO!
Upcoming Appointments: 9/1 for NIPT and MFM, 9/20 with OB
How are you feeling?: Like others, crap. Some days are better than others. More fatigued one day, more nauseous the next. I feel lifeless at the end of the day. Also really hoping that the next scan shows some healthy babies, since we are seeing family in September and want to share the news that we are having twins!
Rants/Raves: Family vacation to Charleston this weekend! Another rave is that we are in the single digits for PIO shots! Woohoo!
Questions:
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? DS has the eyes, full lips, and a great smile and laugh. He's so thoughtful, playful, adventurous, and creative. He's a combination of both us! I love that he got his curly hair from his Dad. Hoping that the next kids are just like him, but better sleepers!
@jennifer_m21 I have no idea yet! I'm going to try to hide it from the until after the 20 week anatomy scan (hoping I get that far) but DD1 is almost 8 so she'll probably figure it out on her own before I get around to telling them 😅 Do you have any ideas yet?
@Panaceia The 20-week scan is a good time! They'll get to see some good pics! DS is 3.5, so he's not totally sure how babies/siblings are made even though he's asked about having a sister or brother for awhile! He loves books, so we may read a book about him being a big brother.
@jennifer_m21 When we were having DD2 I explained to DD1 that mommy has an egg and daddy has seeds and when one of daddy's seeds is planted in mommy's egg a baby grows in mommy's tummy. Of course, DD1 decided that the way mommy gets seeds to the egg is by eating them...so she kept telling me to point out which package in the kitchen had the seeds because she did NOT want to eat them by accident 🤣

How are you feeling?: blek. Still. Some days are horrible. Sometimes I wish I would throw up because then maybe I’d feel better. But I have a prescription for anti nausea meds waiting for me to pick up on my way home from work tonight. So happy for that to see if they help.
Rants/Raves: raving myself because I’m gonna order some takeout for myself on my way home for work 😂🤷🏻♀️
Questions: natm
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? I hope this kiddo is kind and gentle like my DS. Both my husband and I are very quiet introverts. And idk how we’d handle a wild child (which I’m sure this babe will be to throw us through a loop😂).

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out at the AS, will let family know a while after.
Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow 8/25 for 12 weeks. Have a list of questions to ask of course.
How are you feeling?: So much better this week. Crossing my fingers that it improves from here. I can’t handle the drowsiness from unisom and phenergan any longer.
Rants/Raves: My sciatica has flared up. Waaaaay earlier than with my first. Only something I have ever gotten while pregnant. Meeting with a Webster certified chiropractor Thursday morning and it couldn’t come any sooner.
Questions: Anyone else already living in maternity clothes? I made the jump today. I didnt need them until a little later with my first. I feel sooooo much better.
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? Our first is the sweetest, cuddliest, most pure hearted, imaginative kid. I hope this babe has some of those qualities. I superficially hope this babe has my green eyes too. Everyone in our house including the dog have brown eyes 😂 I think it is a possibility. MIL had hazel eyes so there is a gene in there somewhere on DH’s side.
@night_nurse I have brown eyes and SO has green eyes. DD1 has dark brown eyes and DD2 has light blue eyes. My dad has grey eyes so the light gene was in there somewhere. I read that brown + green = 50% brown and 50% split between blue and green (I don't remember the exact breakdown) so you've at least got a 50% chance for something other than brown!

Upcoming Appointments: 8 Sep for the prenatal screening
How are you feeling?: Relieved and happy!
Rants/Raves: We waited almost 1.5 hours to see our gynae because she had an emergency csec but the appointment flew by so quickly. Happy to see baby there and hoping that I get to 2nd tri ASAP.
Questions: Is gender disappointment something that can be prevented? I know MH strongly prefers a girl (as do I) but, I have been purposefully using gender neutral terms so that if we find out it’s a boy we won’t be let down. Does that work? Or it’s something that will hit you anyway and then you slowly deal with it? Like just now MH looked at the ultrasound and said my daughter lol.
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? When we went for a premarital prep class, there was a section where we did a personality test and we were both primarily red people - so very action oriented, driven, passionate and temperamental. Our son is also very similar. I’m hoping baby 2 can be somewhat less red but that’s really unlikely I think! Physique wise I wish he/she gets MH’s dimples, my eyes and paternal grandad’s height.
@bananasb I think if you have your heart set on a specific sex you're definitely going to feel some disappointment no matter what. With DD1 I was positive she was a boy. The last 15 babies born in to my family before her had all been boys so I was positive she would be a boy too. At the 20 week scan I found out she was a girl. Even though I didn't necessarily want a boy more than a girl I was definitely a little surprised and felt a little sad because I was SOOOOO convinced she was going to be a boy. SO was a little disappointed initially too because he was so scared to be a girl dad. It was definitely short lived and we were so excited to be having a girl, but the initial shock was definitely a little bit hard to take. With DD2 we both desperately wanted another girl. I'm sure I would have cried if she had been a boy. We even had her name picked out before I got pregnant with her. This time I will be thrilled either way, but we would still both secretly love another girl. We've just gotten so used to being girl parents that I can't even imagine us with a boy at this point...although I would adore a boy too (and we do already have a boy name ready to go...)!
@bananasb we were calling him a girl and H said he was 100% sure it was a girl, well we were wrong. There was definitely a lot of disappointment at first, but now I got so attached to this little boy I’m afraid at the anatomy scan we are going to find out it actually is a girl and then I’ll have gender disappointment twice this pregnancy
@night_nurse Thanks for the reminder to book with my Chiro. Have not seen her in a while. I got sciatica with my second but not my first. Hasn't shown up yet this pregnancy.
@gembud feelings about baby gender are so complicated...I don't know how I feel yet about whether I want a girl or boy. Trying to remain open to whatever the universe delivers and resisting the urge to develop a preference. But I'm sure you can be confident that the blood test is right!
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: uncertain. Requested to find out on the NIPT, but may ask the doctor to write it down for me and put in an envelope. That way we can choose to find out later if wanted.
Upcoming Appointments: NIPT Aug 31, OB Sept 16. It’s so strange not having a ton of blood work and US this pregnancy - with my daughter it was constant monitoring and appts.
How are you feeling?:
Some days I barely feel pregnant, and start to worry. Other days the fatigue/nausea/food aversions/headaches/indigestion hits hard. The constant each day is my chest feels like it’s bruised and so, so sensitive. Even wearing a bra hurts. I also have been having trouble going for a BM - restorolax and water are my best friends right now. My stomach is so puffy and I look like I’m 4-5 months pregnant.
Also caved and bought a snoogle again - it’s glorious lol!
Was planning on telling our daughter at 12 weeks. Now think we will wait until 16. I’m so undecided and like that nobody knows at this point. I’m having a hard time actually believing I’m pregnant, and have this strange fear that if I tell people something bad will happen.
Rants/Raves: My daughter is so suspicious. “If I were mommy and my tummy hurt for this long, I’d go to the doctor. I don’t know why she just keeps having tummy aches every day”.
She also asked me if I shrunk my shirt the other day - between the growing chest and tummy, I’m starting to feel like Winnie the Pooh having to pull my shirt down constantly.
Questions:
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? My daughter is spunky and smart. I worked so hard to have her be confident so others do not walk all over her, but also empathetic and kind to others. She loves school, and started reading short novels this past year at 5 years old. She reminds me of a little me - but also has a “I’ll do it myself attitude” that my husband has tried to foster. We went to a playgroup yesterday, and she asked the ECE’s if she could help them assemble a piece of furniture. She started asking for an Allen key, screw driver etc, and put together the piece by herself. She’s always inventing contraptions and forever writing and illustrating “books”.
I’d love to have a boy, but would also be thrilled with a girl. I just hope they have the same independent, curiosity, and free thinking attitude of our daughter. I hope they are kind and compassionate, and that by the time they go to school it will no longer be online only!
@Jeenyus Yes to the Snoogle! I pulled mine out the other day! I'm also waiting to tell the girls...hopefully DD1 won't figure it out sooner, but if we get past the anatomy scan without issue I'll tell them then.
@night_nurse yes, I've already given up and I'm wearing maternity clothes... I got by in regular clothes until 24 weeks with my first, probably 16 with my second, I probably should have started wearing them when we started trying with this one @Jeenyus I broke out the Snoogle 2 weeks ago and it's a life saver. MH snuggled it one day, just to see, and he gets it now. @bananasb I was sure DD was a boy, then found out she was a girl at the anatomy scan... I don't recall being disappointed though. I thought DS was a girl, but was team green with him. I'd say being team green helped alleviate any possible disappointment I might have had; the Dr said "it's a boy" and handed me a baby... at that point he could've been an alien and I would've been thrilled to finally meet him

Upcoming Appointments: Had one yesterday, baby's heart rate was 175 on the doppler and the Dr convinced me to get the MaterniT and genetic screening because he said "the results might not change what you do, but it will change what I do".
How are you feeling?: Better today, this weekend was killer and I felt really bad Sunday. Headache, nausea, general malaise... I'm not sure if it was all pregnancy related but it was bad.
Rants/Raves: I'm starting a new reward system for DS this week, I'm excited to see if it works.
Questions: natm
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? DD and DS are both crazy smart and have incredible capacities to learn anything they want, I hope this baby is as smart and curious as they are. MH and I both have brown eyes, DD has green and DS has brown (although they are from a previous relationship); I'm interested to see if this baby has brown or some other color, since lighter colors run in both our families. I hope this baby has MHs curly brown hair and my more olive complexion.

How are you feeling?: Generally pretty terrible 😣 but I managed to rally a bit for my DD 2nd birthday today.
Rants/Raves: Rave! So thankful for my family and friends who helped make my daughter’s 2nd birthday so special for her today 🥰
Questions: I am running low on podcasts to listen to while I am in bed not feeling well - anyone have any birth/parenting ones they love? I am all caught up on The Birth Hour.
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? My husband is half Persian and has beautiful thick, dark curly hair. I am a northern European mix and have reddish brown fine, wavy hair. I was convinced there would be no way any of my kids would have my hair color, but by some genetic miracle my daughter has my EXACT hair color, but with a bit more curl like my husband. I hope this little one has curls like my hubby again ❤️ My daughter is so sweet, silly, and curious, so I hope this baby will share some of those qualities as well!
@Jeenyus I got a kids one for DD1 and she loves it! I was still bedsharing with her while pregnant with DD2 so she also had her own full sized Snoogle that she would sleep in like a nest...it actually kept her from kicking me or rolling on top of me at night.
@hcrist0590 I am also taking meds for high blood pressure and found that I'm SUPER sensitive to salt. I actually considered going to the ER on Sunday because my blood pressure was so high and I was feeling so terrible but I drank a bunch of water and cut way back on my sodium intake and I've got it more under control (in addition to the meds). They've also recommended that I take a baby aspirin everyday starting at 12 weeks, I'm assuming it's blood pressure related as well.
@jlbaker08 The baby aspirin is to help prevent pre-eclampsia in pregnancy so the prescribe it if they feel you have any risk factors. It's great that your doctor is being proactive about it if you are already showing signs of high BP!
Upcoming Appointments: Monday ultrasound, Tuesday appointment. Can’t wait to see progress!
How are you feeling?: Varies day to day. Fatigue is still tough
Rants/Raves: Landscapers are finally finishing up. Can’t believe after 17 months our home building process will be complete.
Questions: Does anyone actually like being pregnant? I can’t wait for the baby and know it is worth it, but being pregnant is not enjoyable for me.
GTKY: What qualities of yours, spouses, or your kids do you hope this baby has? DH has super blue eyes I hope he gets. I hope he gets my nose though. Personality, I hope he gets the strong and adventurous side while still being sweet and caring.
@Sarah0335 it gets better (for a lot of people!). My first pregnancy was tough in the first tri but looking back, second and third trimester were not bad. There are annoying parts all through pregnancy, but i think for a lot of people, this is the worst..
@Sarah0335 I did not enjoy any part of my first pregnancy because I was soooooo sick all the way through. My second one I enjoyed a bit more. I was still super sick but not AS sick as with my first so I was able to appreciate it more. This time I'm sicker than I was with both...but I think because it was such a crappie road to even get to this point and I'm so thankful I've made it this far that I'm trying to enjoy whatever parts of it I can. I'm hoping the sickness eases up at least a bit because I would love to be able to enjoy more of it...
@Sarah0335 it definitely got better for me, I didn’t enjoy the first tri, but loved the second tri and was pretty good the third with the exception of just being sore and swollen
@Sarah0335 absolutely loved being pregnant with my first. Had such an easy time and really enjoyed it. This one is the complete opposite. I’m with you on knowing it’ll be worth it, but still disliking the process. 2nd Tri is definitely a little more enjoyable for most. Hoping that’s the case for you.
@sarah0335, I find in the second trimester you feel pretty energetic. Once you start to really show it feels nice to be pregnant. Everyone starts to be really nice to you and you feel this beautiful baby kicking and moving around; always keeping you company. So it does get better! Its also a great excuse to get out of a lot of things you don't want to do - like cleaning, physical activity, attending lame social events. (maybe that's just me) The worst downside for me has always been crazy weight gain.
@Sarah0335 I absolutely loved my first pregnancy. This time around is quite a bit more rough, so I’m not as happy yet, but after the 14 week mark I felt significantly better last time and felt great throughout the rest of pregnancy(when I could eat a bit better and work out again) so I’m hoping this one will turn around too!
Re: Weekly Check In 8/23
I was totally thinking about this @gembud 😀
Honestly this time I have no preferences, just excited to see what they'll look and be like.
EDD / Weeks + Days: either 10+0 or 10+2 depending on whether I go by Ultrasound tech's estimate or LMP Estimate. Waiting on OB apt to get her take
EDD / Weeks + Days: 9+3 by LMP, but I'm guessing based on my scan today, they will probably bump me up by 4 days. Which is bonkers to me since that means I found out at 2+5🤔
probably green?
Not looking forward to that at all... Nausea on and off.
DS has amazing blue eyes. I hope this baby gets them too! DH and I both have boring hazel eyes. I hope this baby is as loving, and kind, and smart as DS. But I pray baby is NOT sick, doesn't have allergies like big brother, and actually sleeps some!
@realhousewife519 add me to the list of being spammed by baby ads, so excited for the snuggles and that newborn smell!
@goldfishcraker ugh that is so hard, so sorry you have to go through that right now
@goldfishcraker awww @ your DS being a sweetie. I have the same hopes about DD, but wonder if it will be different when it's a 24/7 baby!
@gembud heterochromias can look so amazing! Do you know anything about the genetics of it? or just random?
EDD / Weeks + Days: 10+1 3/20
@luckyduck42 I think lime is too big, too. Next week says plum and I feel like a plum is smaller than a lime. Maybe it’s a key lime? Overthinking this!
@rachelredhead nope he’s the only one! Was a really cool surprise when he was born
@gembud feelings about baby gender are so complicated...I don't know how I feel yet about whether I want a girl or boy. Trying to remain open to whatever the universe delivers and resisting the urge to develop a preference. But I'm sure you can be confident that the blood test is right!
She also asked me if I shrunk my shirt the other day - between the growing chest and tummy, I’m starting to feel like Winnie the Pooh having to pull my shirt down constantly.
I’d love to have a boy, but would also be thrilled with a girl. I just hope they have the same independent, curiosity, and free thinking attitude of our daughter. I hope they are kind and compassionate, and that by the time they go to school it will no longer be online only!
@Jeenyus I broke out the Snoogle 2 weeks ago and it's a life saver. MH snuggled it one day, just to see, and he gets it now.
@bananasb I was sure DD was a boy, then found out she was a girl at the anatomy scan... I don't recall being disappointed though. I thought DS was a girl, but was team green with him. I'd say being team green helped alleviate any possible disappointment I might have had; the Dr said "it's a boy" and handed me a baby... at that point he could've been an alien and I would've been thrilled to finally meet him
EDD / Weeks + Days: somewhere between 10-11
