Late O, late period, BFN

TTC #2 now for one year. I (normally) have a pretty regular cycle. (O around days 15-19, 27-30 day cycles) Last month I ovulated on/close to cycle day 21. AF showed up on day 27. This month I ovulated cycle day 23. I’m now on day 31 with no sign of AF. I have had heavy and thick off white CM, cramps, but BFN this morning. Anyone have any similar stories and gotten their BFP?

@hjemomma that's a really short luteal phase, if you're ovulating on day 21 and starting your period on day 27. I would talk to your doctor about that if that pattern continues and since you're already hitting that 1 year mark without success. Are you charting? How are you determining ovulation?

Fwiw, you almost never see BFPs less than 8 days after ovulation. It's just way too soon to test positive, which is why you want to see luteal phases closer to 10+ days, to allow for enough time for implantation, which usually occurs 5-9 DPO.

OPK and BBT. My LP is normally 12(ish) days which is why I’m so confused about my last 2 cycles being so off.. I did have a laparoscopic endometriosis removal surgery back in May so I’m wondering if that could have changed my cycles up somehow?! The first time I had the procedure done i was pregnant a month later.

Oh honey! Endometriosus, stage 4 person here who had to have a hysterectomy.  

Endometriosis alone messes EVERYTHING up from cycles, to TTC, etc.  

This is definately something to talk to your doctor about.   Sorry you have endo - its not easy, its aweful!
