This is Little Debbie (looks like a Swiss roll). When I adopted her she was about 6 and now she’s 12. When I adopted her they just called her a “low rider” mutt, which is very accurate but still cracks me up. She has some Bassett or corgi in her. She puts up with being my son’s climbing toy fairly well.
My cat and dog 🐈🐕. We rescued both of them. Well more like the cat picked us. He showed up one day when he was tiny tiny and never left. Pics in spoiler since they are big (or at least look huge on my phone).
We have 3 cats. This is Howard, he is my sons cat and will be the death of me. Pretty sure the cats knew I was pregnant before I did because they all took turns laying on me (and still do).
We have an elderly yorkie named Lily, a young crazy Australian shepherd named rainier. And an old cat named Kali! They’re all generally annoying in some way or another (old and cranky, or too wild and never calm). Also realizing I never take pictures of them anymore 😅 sorry I tried to do this all on my phone under spoilers. But this app is forever 👎🏼 So I’m hoping it worked.
We have a Standard Poodle named Sheamus. We got him as a retiring show dog/stud when my oldest was one, and while I've always had two dogs at a time Sheamus is like two rolled into one most days. We drove several states to pick him up from one of his co-owners and then came the fun of acclimating a kennel show dog to family life. He's my second standard poodle and we love the breed but he's a little quirky.
These are our girls, both rescued from our local shelter. Emma (on the left) is a 3 1/2 year old beagle/black lab/poodle/german shepherd mix. Rainey (on the right) is a 5 month old german shepherd/hound/boxer mix.
Our local shelter won't adopt dogs out until they're been spayed/neutered so we fostered Rainey starting early in June and upon signing her official paperwork earlier this month, discovered that her birthday is my due date! It was definitely meant to be
@Panaceia your bunny is soooo cute! If we had the room I'd love to have a bunny some day.
This is Bohica right after we got her roughly 6 years ago. She is 100% MHs baby and a LOT bigger now. We previously had two other kitties: an all black kitty named Yorkels and a orange tabby named Tarfu; however, we had to rehome them because they were both very unhappy with the birth of our girls. Oddly, Bobo is MUCH happier now as a single cat family too.

@lurvleybunchococonuts I've always had house bunnies. Male bunnies are like little puppies in their temperament and girls are like kittens. People always seem shocked by the fact that they are litter trained like cats Added bonus...they're quiet and you don't have to walk them BUT they will still hop on your lap for cuddles, play fetch or any other game you like, and are super clean!
I love all of your fur babies, so sweet! We don't have any pets, but I would love to add a puppy to the family some day! Preferably after we're done having babies, and DS1 is old enough to help more. I had a few cats as a kid, but in my 20s I developed allergies and can't be around cats without popping a antihistamine before hand. Recently DS1 (6) asked for an axolotl, and DD (4) wants a bunny. Not sure I have the patience to care for 4 children plus pets at the moment, but perhaps one day!
@smoresdoeuvres My oldest (10) just started talking about axolotls and my DS's(6) kindergarten teacher from last year just got one in her classroom too... I wonder what the deal is?
