Ingrown toenail

Hi at 20 weeks I had my ingrown toenail removed twice within a week apart. I didn't realize in the second trimester I would have swollen toes and feet and it would affect the healing process. I also suffer from sciatica nerve pain and at night it's horrible. When I wake up in the morning the middle toe has a weird sensation almost like a rubber band is wrapped around it. That's what's most bothering me and numb toes at night. I did have my big toe ingrown toenail removed but I was in the first trimester and didn't have any swelling it healed well no sensations. So just want to make sure this is pregnancy related and will go away.

Ok.....then talk to your doctor about your concerns???? Swelling feet is common in pregnancy, compression socks help a lot.

  • Already did. Compression socks are uncomfortable. But wondering if the sensation I'm feeling on my toe is from pregnancy.

Yes, they are uncomfortable, but when you wear them all the time, you get used to it.  I work 51+ hours in a hot kitchen....if I dod not wear them my legs would be balloons.

The sensation on your toe might or might not be related to pregnancy.  Not much else to say 🤷‍♀️
