Self Care Tips: negative test and/or AF

Hi, Ladies!

Needing some self care inspiration today as this isn’t our cycle (again). 

What do you do to take care of yourself and move through the disappointment of a negative test and/or getting AF?

I hope this doesn't make me sound like a trash human 😂

Self care for me most of the time looks like a tall, great craft beer and a steak and cheese sub. Then depending on the weather I enjoy those watching a horror movie or I sit outside by the fire.

@jellie603 if that makes anyone a trash human, I’m right there with you. Except maybe a coors light and cheesesteak fries 😂

@jellie603 that’s what I’m trying not to do this time 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m sitting with the disappointment this morning… I went for a walk and I’m making a healthy lunch but dammit if I don’t wanna just have those fries and maybe allllll the reeses peanut butter cups 😂

Hi @trying4babyhunter!  Sorry to hear that this isn't your cycle.  That painful feeling definitely resonates for me.  FYI, we have a pretty structured board here that I think generally discourages one-off posts. However, this structure provides lots of opportunities for support.  The daily WTO (Waiting to Ovulate) posts are a great place to share feelings like this at the start of a new cycle and get support, and there are also weekly Healthy Habits posts that might have some helpful ideas.  Wishing you all the best.

The Board has changed a bit since my first go round and I’m still finding my way around. My son will be 9 next week so it’s been a long time! thanks for the suggestions and I’ll be sure to check those out!

@trying4babyhunter one of the major rules nowadays is that mention of LCs isn’t allowed outside of the TFAS thread.
