TWW symptoms after miscarriage

edited August 2021 in TTC After a Loss
Hey laddies, Has anyone tried to conceive within a few weeks after a miscarriage if so, what are/were your two week wait symptoms? I started bleeding 7/14 or 7/15 I had a confirmed complete miscarriage at 5 weeks pregnant on 7/19 I stopped bleeding on 7/20 and my HCG levels were 15 on 7/22. I had an extremely high sex drive 7/23-8/2, cramps on the right side 07/25-26 (my ob said During my ultrasound that I ovulated from my left ovary), as well as other ovulation symptoms a little nausea, boobs slightly sore definitely swollen/fuller etc. Also my cervix has been super high and has remained high to this very second. My husband took off a week or so to be with me after the miscarriage we BD the entire time from 07/23 to 08/4 my sex drive was so high all day and night honestly sorry TMI. We honestly weren’t trying it just happened that way plus my obgyn informed me incorrectly and told me that I could not be pregnant again until I had my first period so I figured why not go crazy. I have always kept track of my symptoms etc. after that week I began feeling ill with a ton of pregnancy symptoms and I began a line progression with wondfo and pregmate. They have all been negative and extremely white but it has also been early. Could I be pregnant again? TMI but I vomited for the first time today but still negative. Also no AF its hard to say but based on my “ovulation cramps” I would be about 1/2 days late. I started testing with ovulation strips 2 days ago just to see if I was wrong and I did not ovulate but, the second line on those are just barely there like a light shadow so I really do believe I ovulated before.. I have been getting these pinches and pressure feeling the last two days definitely does not feel like AF. Implantation maybe? I have honestly been losing my mind all over again with these pregnancy symptoms I have been having. I wonder if any of you have had similar symptoms as I have?

  • Your cycles can be wonky for up to 6-12 months following a MC.  It can take months for it to regulate out.  If you weren't temping, there's no way to know for sure that you O'd.  Also, HCG level of 15 is not a negative level, you were still 'PG' with the last baby hormones.  5 or less is 'not PG.'  If you are getting negative tests, you are not PG at this time.  That's probably a good thing in your case, as you didn't track your HCG down to below 5, so therefore a positive test would either be 50/50 picking up the HCG from the last PG or could be from a new PG.  THAT is why they tell you to wait until after your first AF following MC to attempt PG again.

Post-MC you can feel all different types of symptoms with your cycles that you'd never had before.  I had cycles where I had symptoms that I would've sworn I were PG had I not also been bleeding buckets of blood with awful cramps.

    MC is hell.

You really are just going to have to wait it out.  See if you O'd later and get a BFP later on... or if you eventually get AF.

October 2015 - 1st MC.  7-8 weeks along. Suspected molar PG, but luckily just a MMC.

    Feb 2017 - 4th MC: 6 weeks

RE 2: More tests. Still 'unexplained.'  Called fat for an entire hour-long appointment, cried a lot
