Makena Shots

I delivered my daughter at 33 weeks due to PPROM. I am 13 weeks along with my second and my MFM wants me to start Makena shots at 16 weeks. Has anyone had these shots after a previous preterm birth? What was your experience? Also, I’m curious how much they cost. We are uninsured. I know they have a financial assistance plan but usually when they ask our household income it kicks us out of being eligible for anyone assistance.
