Private Migration Vet Thread

Hi guys! We’ve been talking about moving over to a private BMB this week and the general consensus seemed to be to vet those that we believe contributed enough to move on over with us to private. So comment below if you’d like to move over to the private BMB and if you see someone’s comment and think they’ve contributed enough to join us, give it a love tit. What we thinking, at least 5 to come through? 

Also, does anyone want to volunteer to start the private group? I don’t really know how lol

I don't want to volunteer to be an admin, because I already am for my first BMB.

But I do want to be in the private group!

I would love to be part of the private group! I'm not sure how to be a BMB admin to form a new group either though.

5 sounds fine to me considering that our group is pretty small, but if others feel like a bigger threshold that's fine too

I would love to come over to the private group BUT I know I've been pretty sporadic about posting especially as Delta varient kicks up and therefore so does my workload

I know I haven’t posted in a while (my toddler is crazy and posting on my phone app is a major pain lol) but I would really enjoy being on the private group with you ladies.

I think I figured out how (I emailed the Bump) but I think it's touch and go with how quickly they respond/form the group. Hopefully they'll surprise me but otherwise I'll follow up haha.

Regarding the private board, after people get the requisite love its, I'll figure out how to invite you and everyone should post their "proof". For my BMB, that meant going straight into the "Proof" thread within [X] number of hours and posting a picture that showed your face, bump and a paper with your due date and username handwritten on it. Does anyone have any other ideas or thoughts?

@marbellie that works for me! Thanks for getting it started, sorry I couldn’t figure out how lol I’m happy to continue posting but I also wouldn’t mind some help from others now and then as it can be a bit of a chore sometimes lol

@marbellie that all sounds perfect to me.

@jackie_dunny because we are such a small group I don’t think we have the need to have as much structure in our posts especially in the private group. I am fine with us just doing a few basic posts that don’t have to necessarily be updated ever week instead of new daily/weekly posts every week, and then everyone can just post individual posts as things come up. 

Basically, I’m open to whatever everyone wants to do 😂, but I think since we are so small we won’t really get too cluttered if we just want to move to a more freestyle way of posting.

I’d love to be in a private group… It’s been a bit crazy over here with us being so close to moving into our new build… so I’ve been a bit quiet. 

I’m already an admin for a ton of other groups, and I don’t mind it at all. It’s pretty easy actually.

Update: finally Bump Support responded to my email (per the instructions on how to create a private group).... But it was to say that it's received and now sent up to Bump Community? 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Wow TB is such a mess. I just requested to be allowed in too and said in the request that I'm the one who asked to make the group and to let me be a moderator please 🤦🏾‍♀️

I’d like to come over if you’ll have me. I’ve been here since early on but it’s hard to keep up as a STM and when the mobile version of this is not helpful for seeing what’s new.

@jenniferjoy37 yes! Go to the “groups” section and find Nov21 Moms and press ask to join. @marbellie should then let you in!
