HCG Increasing but not doubling and bleeding for 9 days???

Hi everyone, first post here. I got my BFP on July 22 and then on the 24 I started having dark brown spotting that turned into dark brown bleeding…today makes 9 days. I have been monitoring my hcg levels every 48-72 hours and they’ve been increasing but not doubling. Initial beta was 103, 46 hours later it was 141, 72 hours after that it was 204. I go in for another draw today but I started having bright red, regular flow amount of bleeding the same day my hcg was 204. I just had a miscarriage last month and we got pregnant right away without a period in between so I’m terrified. Any positive stories? I’m expecting my levels to be down but I’m still so heartbroken I don’t want to go through that again and I’m trying to hold onto any hope.

  • @krickleb I’m so sorry. When I experienced a similar slow rise, the pregnancy ended soon after. So my impression is the same as @stormageddon-darklordofall. If it’s important to you to maintain some hope until MC is confirmed, that is certainly understandable. I hope you have people in your life to provide comfort and support as you go through this difficult experience.

@krickleb I'm so sorry you're going through this. So... I had slow rising HCG (a week to double at the end) AND a SCH that was causing bleeding, and while I was not actively miscarrying when they found the SCH (HCG was still very, very slowly rising, baby had a heartbeat and was measuring on track), I believe it was inevitable because I did miscarry quite quickly the next day.
Eta: to me, the slow rising HCG was a big flag that something wasn't right, that, and my dropping progesterone.

I hope your situation turns out differently, but I agree with PPs, and would prepare yourself for another loss.
