What’s an interest you have that not many people have heard of?

I don’t think I have any interests that no ones heard of but like most 3 year olds (and not many adults) I really love dinosaurs! I used to be a performer at a dinosaur park and while I always had a slight interest, there were a good chunk of us that left that job just really loving it. Some even went into careers in it (museum tour guides, palaeontologists, etc.) which I thought about doing for a bit

Most recently my odd interest has been geeking out over the enneagram personalities. DH and I have been attending free virtual panels on each personality type. I've identified myself as a type 5 and we are currently thinking he's a 7 but don't feel super strongly about that.

I have always been a huge nerd for mythology in general but Greek and Norse specifically. I love to learn about the different mythology stories from different cultures.

Ummm, I like to watch murder porn… (AKA investigation discovery shows and the like… not real porn, hahaha!!) 

DH always teases me telling me I would be able to get away with his murder because I watch so much.

@jackie_dunny it's a personality classification kinda like Myers-Briggs (if you're familiar with that one.. I think it's one of the most widely known) but way more in depth and complex (like seriously, astrology levels of complexity). It's based more off of motivation than behavior. There are 9 personality types each with 3 subtypes.

@mayoduck ooh that sounds interesting! Where can you take the quiz to find out? Is it just a google thing?

@jenniferjoy37 there was a solid chunk of time where I would fall asleep every night watching Forensic Files. DH would come to bed and be like WTF are you watching and how do you fall asleep to murder 😂

re mythology I took several classes in high school and college. My first daughter is named Penelope because I feel like that particular story is so badass.

@jackie_dunny I just googled a couple quizzes, though honestly they aren't considered to be very accurate but they can be a good start for narrowing down what you could and eliminating some types that you actually aren't. I actually thought I was a type 1 for a good while until I did some deeper digging and realized I resonated much better with type 5. It's pretty complex and often vague but I think I'm drawn to the fact that it feels a bit like a puzzle to figure out.

@doodleoodle @jenniferjoy37 MURDER SHOWS. FORENSIC FILES. YES! I listen to murder podcasts to help me sleep. My partner is also questioning how I can sleep, I always say I can sleep because I feel prepared to protect myself in these situations due to my overwhelming knowledge of murderers
