Steak & cheese subs

I ate a steak & cheese sub with mayo from the local sub shop,  and now i’m deeply regretting It & freaking out. Anyone else eat steak & cheeses?

Whats wrong w/ steak and cheese?   Unless it was sitting out at room temp all day, then there are issues.

I don’t think there is any reason to worry unless it was raw. But presumably it was cooked and probably delicious.

I guess it depends on what you mean by steak? Like a Cooked cheesesteak? Fine.
Medium Rare roast beef? Probably still fine. 

A LOT of people still eat subs. It’s most likely okay as long as the place follows food safety procedures. And cheese is okay as long as it’s pasteurized. There’s nothing you can do about it now so I wouldn’t worry too much.
