How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Last cycle was only 26 days. Prior to MC, my cycle was averaging 30 days. It caught me by surprise. So much so that I didn't get to waste a pregnancy test! I tried to play it cool and not do OPKs the first cycle, because I was hoping I would be one of the ones that got pregnant right away after miscarriage. It didn't work, so I used OPKs this time. I know I didn't ovulate until CD19, which is later than I would have expected. I'm glad I used OPKs and at least know when I ovulated this cycle! I just want to be pregnant again so bad.

Any testing coming up/any recent results?

    Questions?
  • @sammygirl18 status is just referring to whether you're WTO, TWW, or even benched for your current cycle. My cycles have been a bit wonky/different after my MC. My LP got longer than usual and now it's a day shorter than it has been over the last few years. It's annoying, but tracking with OPKs and temping definitely helps with knowing when to expect AF.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Things are fine. Trying to keep cool as a cucumber over the decision to get the covid vaccine. I kept forgetting to schedule and now I'm getting it on my expected O date. Hope that doesn't screw things up. One more week!

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope, just starting OPKs early next week

    Questions? nope

  • I haven’t checked into this thread in awhile so here goes.

@sammygirl18 cycles are so wonky after a loss. I had a relatively “normal” (for me) length cycle of 48 days after my loss and then the next one was 88 days. Hopefully yours will normalize quickly.

@inthewoods23 glad you got your vaccine  scheduled but boo for O day. Hopefully it won’t affect anything. Which shot are you getting?

    1 loss: MC in January

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Things are going well. I actually publicly shared that I had a loss earlier this year on social media yesterday with an article that I found about a bill that was just put forth that would give paid time off to families who experienced a pregnancy loss, failed IVF, or a medical diagnosis regarding infertility. I’ll include the link in a spoiler if you’re curious. I got super anxious after I posted it but was also kinda relieved to share, if that makes sense. I’m fairly open about my struggles with infertility and my loss. I am getting anxious about my empty due date approaching next month though.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope. Just finished Clomid last week and have started TI -hoping to O soon.

    Questions? No

  • @gingermama29 at least I won't have to worry about the vaccine messing up my cycle and delaying O lol. As for which one I don't know. The place I scheduled doesn't allow you to select. I'm HOPING for Pfizer since they've done the most studies related to pregnancies. They will definitely have it for those 12-16 (or 18?). I don't want it to be a case of "well we're saving all of these for the kids so you're getting Moderna/J&J". I wonder if I can give them a call and request it being TTC. Oh man time off after my failed embryo transfer would have been so helpful. I wasn't out of my funk until a month later. I don't know why I did so much better with my loss but it may have just been that it happened on a Friday so I had the weekend to mope. But also, being IF for so many years I just felt blessed knowing natural conception was possible and that provided a lot of comfort.

  • @sammygirl18 my cycles have been a bit different after my MC, and I have had a shorter LP by a day or 2.

@inthewoods23 Do you have a CVS near you, and can you switch to getting it from them? By me, you can choose your CVS location when you schedule an appointment, and it will tell you whether it's moderna or Pfizer.

@gingermama29 it's a weird thing going through a loss/IF and no one at work knowing what's going on, especially since many are WFH. Very isolating. I just sat on my bed and tried to work as much as I could, answering repetitive emails as usual like nothing was wrong or different. Not that I would do it differently, but it's still weird.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well?  IT'S MY LAST BENCHED CYCLE!!! 🙌🙌 I'm very excited, as you can tell 😆.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Just a routine hormone check unrelated to my MC (since I'm always on PG during the LP). Curious to see where everything is at 2-ish months post MC 🤔

    Questions? nope

  • @pajamstagrams mmm yeah I could but idk... I wasn't super comfortable with the idea of getting it at a drugstore. They're not exactly equipped should a major issue arise. I know where my PCP is located they had signs posted for what vaccine they had in at the time so it seems like places are still doing "you get what we got shipped". I remember in the beginning it was like [state] is getting X vaccine and being bummed out when I first heard our state was only doing Moderna since that doesn't have as much data with pregnancy.

And congrats on getting to your last benched cycle!
