Help! Am I wrong?

I am at a loss today. My mother does watch my son one day per week while I work. She has a god-daughter that is 4 years old. The god-daughter is with my mother almost everyday. Since my son's first birthday is coming up it has caused some issues. I explained to my mother that she needs to be present at my son's birthday party and that if she must bring her god-daughter then she needs to behave. My mom is already stressed and states that she will try her best to pay attention to my son at his party. This makes me so angry! I told her that it is about him NOT her god-daughter! Maybe I am jealous or wrong, I don't even know. So now, she has come up with the idea to have a separate party for my son at her house the weekend before his birthday just so that her god-daughter can be apart of it. I don't know what to do. I know that if she has something at her house it is still going to be all about her god-daughter. I really don't want to, but I'm not sure what to say. Am I wrong? Please any advice.
