Introduction and estradiol questions

Hi All. Totally new here. We have been trying for almost a year now (we are over 35) and had our first IUI 2 weeks ago. I was put on 2mg estradiol because the clomid had thinned my uterine lining.

My question is what kind of side effects everyone has had from the estradiol? I feel rotten. Heartburn, indigestion, nauseous. I'm not used to any of these and SUV said I could take an acid reducer but curious about others experiences. Thanks!
