I can't tell if I'm crazy, but I thought I just felt my baby move! I'm just shy of 13 weeks, but this is my third pregnancy. Any of you mamas felt LO moving around in there yet?!?!
@comtessedecle I thought I felt something the other day, but I have no idea if it was the baby or a gas bubble or what, haha! This is my 3rd pregnancy too (that’s gotten this far). So I didn’t think too much of it. But maybe it’s possible you felt the baby?
I'm pretty sure I've felt movement here and there (like a rolling feeling), but nothing definitive or prolonged. I had similar feelings at this point of my pregnancy with my first too. I was certain it was baby at 17ish weeks and my husband could feel them at 20, so I know I'm close to knowing it's baby vs. gas.
I swear I have felt movement for a few weeks now. Just every now and then I feel these little flutters. I know my son became very active at about 16 weeks so we're nearing that time frame.
I’m 12.5 weeks and the other day I felt something that felt like a goldfish fluttering! Lol! It only happened once and I’ve never felt anything like it...I swear it was something!
I'm not sure...it's my first pregnancy. I'm 14 weeks and just started feeling tiny little gas bubbles in the center of my belly a few days ago. I've kind of brushed it off though and told myself it's just gas for now!
I swear I felt a few days ago around 14 weeks. It’s my 3rd so I know the difference between gas and movement. I was actually pressing on my abdomen at the time to see how stiff and if it was starting to move up and I felt this big movement. But I had to google cus I thought you couldn’t till at least 17 weeks but it did say some people have felt it at even 13 weeks, especially if you’ve been pregnant before. I haven’t felt anything since. I hate feeling this great, I never feel pregnant till I go to a doctors appointment. I have one on Monday but I’m tempted to get one of those fetal heart monitors till I can actually feel the little guy in there.
@laurabridget I know what you mean about not feeling pregnant...I haven't felt movement yet but I'm only 13 weeks and this is my first baby so I know I won't for at least a few more weeks. I am sad now thinking I am not getting another sonogram until August 31, which is my anatomy scan. I have a regular OB appointment on August 2, but it will be my first appointment where I don't have a sonogram. How will I know everything is ok?!
@fifilala516 maybe your doctor will listen to the heartbeat? That’s the only thing that happened at my appointment yesterday - we chatted for a few minutes then listened to the heartbeat. Fastest appointment I’ve probably ever had, haha.
@fifilala516 you should hear the heartbeat! My OB (and I think most do) always does a doppler hear beat check at every appointment. And if it doesn't seem like they're going to - I would ask!!
Being old and having a history of preterm birth has its advantages, I guess. This time around I'm getting ultrasounds at every appointment to check my cervical length to make sure it's not too short.
@magdalina.h the only benefit to having a high risk pregnancy is the many ultrasounds - i get scanned every appointment, three high resolution scans (think anatomy scan) at 20, 24 and 28 weeks and a 3D scan at 32 weeks! Of course the downfall is the risk being so high, lol!
@relizabethp and @magdalina.h same here, I had a dating ultrasound at 7, early morphology at 13, and will get cervical lengths every 2 weeks from 16 to 24 (and my OB said usually they also go ahead and do a basic scan of the baby while you are there). Plus the standard anatomy scan and then growth ultrasounds every 3-4 weeks from 24 on.
